    Can some1 explain what does it mean reduce 5 % shield spread

    is like the moth formation, moth has 25% for shoot in ur hp and the drill has 5% the ppl can shoot u into your hp

    As said previously. The 5% shield spread means that your shields will absorb 5% "Less" dmg.
    So your HP will get 5% more dmg (similar to moth).

    mr_plaku™, The 5% decrease in shield spread means that the damage absorbed by the shields is reduced by 5%. Example: If you have 90%/10% damage distribution, your shields will absorb 90% and your hull will take 10% damage. With the Drill Formation, your damage distribution will be 85%/15% meaning your shields will only absorb 85% of the incoming damage and 15% will be attributed to your Hull.
