  1. Hi All,

I was reading about drones that was posted and on the top it show the drone screen of a hanger picture. In that picture it shows drones with 2 shields. Does drones with both slots with shields cause any damage to other? Does it give more protection to your ship?

Having 2 weapons and no shields cause more damage to others, but can receive more return damage because of no shields to drones and ship?

I run with one of each on my main server. The other server both weapons because I don't have enough shields to go around.

Just looking for some thoughts about shields, weapons, mix, and what others do.

  2. The Shields and Guns equipped to the Drones add to the damage or protection to the ship as assigned. Upgraded Drones with Upgraded equipment also get the Drone Level Bonus added to the equipment as assigned. The drones do not take any more damage no matter how they are equipped. You can even assign some of the Extras to these slots if you want to have more than is allowed on the ship. When you hear of someone running a TANK config, many people will have all shields on ship and drones to give maximum shield but minimal running and firepower.

    Welcome WarriorAngus,

Two slots drones are Iris, Apis and Zeus. If you want more protection on your ship you can add shields to the drones it will boost your overall shield, if you looking for additional damage you can equip your drones with lasers, the more lasers you have the higher damage you will deal. It's worth to play around with drones and set them up to your needs. Just for more information you can equip your drones with extras.

Do OP have more questions in this matter or shall we lock the thread?
