[GI] EVENTS!! WHERE ARE THEY?

I know events such as lf4 day, zeus day, double gg rewards day and so on are supposed to be random but why is there never anything on at the start of the week? Its like this game has become a weekend players game and unless you play at the weekend then your screwed!
Mon, Tue, Wed and thursday are so boring as there is nothing to do!
Ok there are the regular ingame events like spaceball and erm...oh yh spaceball but where are the special events for weekday players?? there is none at all, only way you get to take advantage of these events is at weekends and not everyone believe it or not wants to spend their weekends playing this game which leaves them at a disadvantage as bigpoint never put any special events at the start of the week.
So my question is if your trying to get this game more active with more people playing then why is there never anything to do during the week?

 

Watch the Calendar above there are activities listed for everyday of this week except Friday and Saturday granted Sunday is the end of Nano Event.

No one on GB1 bothers with these events so yeah i see his point need something new what people will bother with

Im talking about the special events like lf4 day, zeus day, double gg days or special rewards days!! They always seem to take place on weekends and if you dont play on weekends then the weekdays are a total bore.

 

We really need an upgrade hour for this week. Haven't seen 1 for weeks

 

Team Deathmatch i never even knew still existed! I dont think anyone on my sever has played that for at least the last 3 years!
Infiltration nobody ever bothers with which leaves a load of yellow dots roaming the maps that no one gives a monkeys about
Spaceball could be played if everyone actually bothered to play it but it takes too much effort to get everyone in your company to bother playing it when they are more interested in doing gg then participating in company events since bigpoint turned this game into nothing more then a gg bashing game with the vast amount of gg we now have.

Invasion - getting past the 3 hardest waves is the hardest, but then after

Those are the ones coming up. As for the weekday - that is when the fewest players are online stats-wise.

 

But maybe there is no one on in the weekdays as there is nothing to do and its boring?

 

Part of the reason for clans and making friends in the game are to create different things to do to make the game fun. When I first started the game (my first account) you would have one special activity a month (regular every week stuff now, as mentioned in post#3) and a Special event once a quarter (now every month) and did not have all this G G garbage for people to do so the clans made their own little contests to get the members active in the game. We did not expect D O to provide our entertainment for us we made it ourselves.

Try portal guard for an activity to protect the newbs in the lower maps (of course this was before the AJP-01 jump chip) or protecting a newb from a same company attacker, making sure they knew we did not tolerate this activity in our company.

 

Today is Thursday and I believe that it is LF4 day... and I thought we had a zues day a couple days ago also... I dont do them much but if that is what you are looking for...
The suggestion that we should have something 'exciting' every day (5-6 days a week) would defy the object as exciting would become mundane and thus be insufficient in a few weeks...
The only way around this would be to not have something on the weekend (when many ppl play as I have noticed and I dont think it is only cos of the 'events') and move those exciting events into the week... would that be more to your liking?

I also dont eat Chocolate everyday and when I want to have fun I try to do it with as many ppl as I can...

Where did you get this information from as I do not see it in the Calendar or the upcoming section of the back page?

Those are usually posted to the Newsletter section of the main pack page when they happen and the mods usually have no information on when they are going to happen so there is no for warning for them.

 

You can get all that info in the turkish calendar

 

It is poor to look in the turkish forum for an actually "not from Turkey Game"

Not really sure why the normal one isnt updated properly, also sometimes you can check the german one too, sometimes (not very often) the de. one has some other info

 

I deal with MY language forum as I only play on USA servers. Since the turkish server has things on it that are not on the normal servers looking to that forum does not make sense to me. The German server makes sense that it would have more information since they are the people generating the information to begin with.

The USA Team used to post the stuff like the Turkish, until the changes started happening and they had to make updates and deal with the community complaints about an event not happening.

I still do not understand why this is not something that is uploaded to all forums from the Dev Team instead of being the responsibility of the Moderators.

 

Fair enough that you don't want to check it, but if you want accurate information about when events happen, you know where to check.

DEXTER-MORGAN, We try our best to keep the calendar updated as we get information from Support/Dev teams. Some activities are kept secret until their unveiling for a surprise! As for checking other language forums, they may have server specific events that will not be played out on your particular server. I would heat to expect a particular event and be disappointed when it did not arrive due to the fact that it was a regional event for a specific server.

The Turkish server is a beast of its own and as stated has a number of events that are just for that server but for the majority of the time, the events are the same as with all the servers. There are not too many events that are server specific, and I normally will check Turkey, Germany, and GB, servers to see what will be on US servers the next day.
