[GI] Extra GG from Event Boxes

Hi,

Some of these event boxes give 2 GG energies and some gives 3 GG energies.

I was wondering that when I collect them with my ship I get 3 GG maximum / box but when my P.E.T collects them, it gets the same 3 GG maximum.
How does this work ?

Note: I don't have any PP for boxing but my PET has 7 Salvage protocols. And ofcourse I've a box doubler.

In 4-x I get 4 GG / box. So shouldn't I get 4 GG if my PET collects a 3 GG box ?
I think my PET's salvage bonus does add to other items from these boxes.

 

Event boxes usually range between 2 and 3, that's always been a thing. It's not a bug or glitch, it's just how it works. Notice everything in event boxes except for uri and credits, varies from time to time. 20 uber rockets one, 25 the next. Happens in GG spin boxes.

So you mean that PET salvage bonus doesn't add on to the event boxes for rewards like GG ?

The event boxes has 1 gg and 1.5 gg So with box doubler they get 2 and 3 GG

Since I don't have any bio on box, my ship would get max 3 GG
But for my PET with 7 Salvage protocol (+21%)

3 GG = ~3.6 [Anything above 3.5 should be 4] So it should give 4 GG.

But my PET gets max 3 GG.

So the only reason for this would be that PET salvage bonus doesn't work on GG in event boxes ?

 

No, i believe the pet salvage does, but we had an event before with boxes, and DO stated, the boxes aren't affected by box doubler, no event boxes are according to DO. So, the boxes are completely random. I don't run the game, nor do i really care to get into things serious with this. I just letting you know, the boxes are random. 2 GG to 3 is gonna happen, you're in normal maps, they're special boxes set randomize certain things.
