[GI] Forbidden??

Hi.

I've been trying to log into DO but keep getting a message come up saying aliens everywhere etc... now 2 days later it says forbidden and cannot log in.

This is the 3rd time in a week I've experienced this. the last time lasted 3 days. anyone having the same problem?

I'm getting a bit fed up of the game now to be honest. I've emailed support 4 or 5 times and they haven't even replied once. Getting the feeling DO or Bigpoint or who ever has stopped caring about its customers etc

Also just to add.... My server is GB2 . A server merge should have been done already. the servers currently in the middle of a merge are the following :-

• - GE4 > GE5

• -AS1 > GE7

• -BR1 > MX1

So as to why this problem I am experiencing still persists; I haven't a flaming clue.

 

I also can't access 3 servers at the moment: GB1, GE6 and GE7. GB1 was merged into GE5 (as well as GB2), and GE6 was merged into GE7. But since there is still no OA that the merge is over, it could be that the process is still going on. Just a wild guess but hopefully we will get informed what's really going on.
BTW: I'm getting Forbidden error but before that a login window pops up when I try to switch to the server affected by the latest merge. Tried with my username/password but it doesn't work.

Can you post what error you exactly get when you try to log in onto GB2 ? Make sure you are logging to GB2 instance. Sometimes if player logs in to inactive account that been merged you will experience error and support can help you out.

 

This is not a player issue, and the reason i suspect that you havent had a reply from support is I would think that they would have expected by now for a message to have been posted as the issue is merely caused by lack of information on merges. However as all my different ships on different servers have merged I can explain
The situation is:
announcement is made that GB2 is merging into GE5 as they are the only two servers involved that is correct.
followed by
announcement is made that GB1 is now merging into GE5 but announcement does not state the fact that this will also prevent access to GB2 when as servers are now linked must happen although they do stop the auctions on GB2 to prepare.
The announcement should have said in this case that during the merge GB1, GB2 and GE5 will all be unavailable.
followed by
announcement is made that GE4 is merging with GE5, but announcement does not state the fact that this will also prevent access to GB1 and GB2 when as the servers are now linked must happen although they do stop the auctions on GB1 and GB2 to prepare.
The announcement should have said in this case that during the merge GB1, GB2, GE4 and GE5 will all be unavailable.

In this case it is poor communication of accurate information rather than game error you are suffering from. Hopefully board admin will in future when posting about server merges list all servers effected to prevent confusion.

 

I too had this problem last week for three days and again this week, after filling in the white box with username and password, pressing enter you get a white page telling you that you that you computer cannot understand the instruction.
This happens on both my G,B,1 accounts

I too had this problem,could not get the darkorbit front page up either and also lost out on the last 4 days login so lost out on rsb and laser on gb1.

 

Does OP and other users still experiencing this issue ?

Just tried to log in still not able to same message

 

"/ProjectApi/noInactive.php" Means that your inactive account hasn't been merged. Yes we will merge inactive accounts but we don't have exact time when it will start as soon as we know we will post it on> Next wave of merges

 

Hi so even if i log onto gb1 for years every day im inactive so this must mean everyone is not playing server?

If you play on other servers, support can change server for you. You just have to contact support with details.

 

I am seeing this same issue on another account of mine that I was on yesterday and today I am seeing the same forbidden message.

But I don`t think anybody could select another server to login to since the DO login page tosses you to what ever server you were on last instead of giving us the option to change.
