[GI] Hangar Error

Hello,

Whenever I log in and try to make changes to my hangar, I always get either the "cant be equipped here" or "unknown error please restart". Ive tried clearing cache, restarting my browser, and clearing configs and when I do try again, it sometimes works but I still get the same error. Even when I just x out of the "please restart" error and finally manage to equip everything, when I refresh the page not everything is equipped. Ive tried using different browsers also with no success. BP can u please fix this issue I've been loyal to you guys for a long time, thanks.

 

this is an ongoing thing since they started with all these updates it has been reported several times by myself and several other players to no avail. they keep asking for screen shoots which can't be given unless ur using Mozilla, so Mods this has been reported before do
something about it. It's random one day it's a constent headache and other days it doesn't happen at all.

 

I use Chrome and Opera as my browsers and am able to create screen shots without issue wit my Windows 7 platform. I have seen this issue and had to delete the configs restart the Hangar session and then be able to assign the equipment as needed (a major pain in the backside) but this seemed to work every time. The issue, being this is random, the techs have difficulties in tracing the cause of the issue (they need to be able to reproduce it themselves). The only thing we could do is to run a TRACE program and when the issue happens then we send the trace results to Support and then hope it give the techs the needed information.


Instead of "Transferring" to other ships, I suggest getting enough equipment to equip each ship you use as best you can for whatever you are doing. YES not all of your ships are going to be STRONG, but if doing Pally/boxing you want fast not strong, if killing NPC's an LF-3 is just as good as an LF-4, and if hunting you want the strongest ship you can have. I have enough of the extras to fill my 10 Favorite Hangar ships and am working on getting enough of the shields and guns to do the same.

If you use windows, search "Snipping Tool". Put that on your task bar as to quick launch.

Just setup a save file or it will also default save to "pictures"
