[GI] Help with KAMI

Hey all,
Was doing Alpha Gate today, no problems whatsoever.
Got to the sibelonite wave and I tried to use kami gear but when I stopped to take dmg, and detonate the PET, it would just keep shooting.
Eventually, after like 5 tries, I decided to go and shoot them one by one.
Halfway through, I was running away and the sibelonites were very far away, but my ship kept taking dmg until eventually i died.

Wondering if I am using the Kami gear right and any suggestion.
Yes, I'm sure I had enough Fuel, i had like 48k.

You were lagging, which probably caused a delay in Kami and caused you to get killed

 

Kamikaze bugs a lot. Sometimes it freezes so badly you need to relog to get it working again (rare). Sometimes kamikaze does not detonate at all just shoot with lasers. This can be fixed by restarting your pet but it's not working always. What works almost always is that you kill your own pet while having kamikaze on and then repair it. After that kamikaze works in most cases.

However you said that you stopped taking damage and then activated your kamikaze? To active your kamikaze you need to take damage. Could this be it?

Nope, I was taking dmg when I had it activated. Will try this next time around, thanks!

 

Its not possible for them to be hitting you offscreen unless you are lagging.

 

Maybe your pet had too many hit points...

 

††VORTEX††, Unfortunately this looks to be lag related. Especially being shot while the NPCs were off-screen. You can try a different browser, or reduce the graphic details and see if things improve.
