  1. Can you explain why the hit point varies when every thing is the same.
ie lasers, settings, boosters, Alien and ammo??
I understand there is a variation + when rockets are fired.
However if I was to remove rockets should laser hits be constant?

  2. there where always variations in hitpoints . partly because of pilot sheet and missed shots

  3. There is no logic in it as when you use the precision targeter supposedly at a 100% hit rate there should be no variation. I can understand when the target is almost out of life there may be a reduction.
Thanks for your reply. Chaotic_ scre.

Even without pilot sheet or missed shot, there is a variation in the damage of every laser. In the FAQ about Laser Damage Charts it states :

So if this figure were still correct (this FAQ hasn't been updated since 2015), a LF4 with 200 max damage would randomly hit anywhere between 150 and 200.

You can test it by putting a single laser on your ship, you won't hit the same amount with every shot.

  5. Yep yhay is correct. A poor show i am thinking.
Please close as there is no changing this. DO are very smart
