[GI] hit probability

  1. I would like to ask what is the hit probability of lf3?
    I saw in forum about lf4 its 80%
    Also how should I count the probability of my lasers if I have 5PP in Electro-optics (Increases hit probability of lasers by 25%). If I have 80% probability with full lf4 it make no sense when I add 25% becouse it goes above 100%.... that means the ship should not miss at all which is not true!

    as I see it SeeK_nDestroY 25% of 80% = 20% , so 80% + 20% = 100% , now factor in the OP's ship ability i.e. [Spectrum] and use of PLD-8 rockets against attackers , the attacking ship looses not only a % of damage probability it will also loose a % of the hit probability. Remember DO employs a range limiter as well for the rockets and lasers of specific types. I hope this info brings some clarity to your question. For the lf3 hit probability a good estimate would fall around 72-75%
