[GI] Instance_Location_Title_1218

Ok, was working my transfers (I call it my breakfast routine) and noticed under America East servers a new location that seems to point to Asia 1. However, I could not get in. Is this work in progress or simply locked to players in that region? I did find it weird that it has an USA flag next to it.

 

Can't see them adding a new server with all of the dead ones we already have, but that is what it looks like they are doing.

 

I think the listing is just a mistake, will probably be hidden by the end of the day. Does seem like there's a new server coming, wouldn't be surprised if its done through Youzu's site though or being regionIP locked to Asia only.

I think it's still work in progress though, the address of asia1.darkorbit.com is currently hosted in ... Kansas (all other US servers are in California as far as I'm aware) so that will be why it has appeared in the Americas section for now.
On the other hand it could be that they only just acquired the IP and the location has not been updated when searching it.

Doubt we'll hear anything official about it too soon, might not hear anything at all if its being promoted by Youzu exclusively in Asia.

PSK~SUNDANCE, Unfortunately we do not get information regarding new servers. That information is typically held by the Development Team and only provided to the language teams that will be moderating the server.
