[GI] Lag and Gate lives querry

Question:

Last evening (Sunday) while doing a Beta gate I lost 2 lives due to the game freezing lag. Do I purchase another life or try to finish it hoping for the best? ​

I have never lost a life in a gate and know a gate can be replaced by support once a month type thing. So what does a "Team" member suggest.

Don't be so sure about the "gate can be replaced by support once a month type thing", is not a sure thing.
I lost Epsilon because of lag and multiple connection fails and wasn't replaced. It was my first Epsilon and I tried to do on double rewards days for 2 LF4.

If you lose the gate you can ask for a reset

There are stipulations to that that support have to follow, but they do reset when they can. Presently they can reset one every three months, and if you place a new gate of the same kind in the map before they can reset it then they aren't going to be able to reset the earlier lost gate anymore (for example, if you lose a hades, build & place a new one in the map - you've then essentially overridden the earlier hades). You also need to ask for the gate reset right away, typically within 48 hours.

Ultimately, it is up to you. Whether you want to try to finish the gate with your last life and potentially need to request a reset, or buy an extra life and hope that gets you through.

In either case, I do hope you have better luck with it than your first two lives

Thanks for that information, very enlightening. I decided to purchase another life and finish the gate. Didn't need the extra life but had I not gotten it good ol' murphy's law would have been waiting for me in there haha.
