[GI] Lag is so bad

Ok it can't be just me experiencing the lag i have played DO since 2012 and i always clear my cache even restart computer but lately the game is giving me nothing but a bad experience. When i jump it takes sometimes over 10 seconds to finally jump in witch case almost every time the enemy has already killed me even before i am actually on the map? When i jump after an enemy they could be in slow config and still get away. Also during crazy cubes and i know there are many aliens to cause this but iv'e never had this problem before only the last couple months has it been this bad. I have all drones turned off and graphics are down same as always, but now i get so frustrated with the game that i log out and do something else. Any ideas why now the lag is so bad from before? Yes i am using chrome but i have been since 2012 with no problems at all. I know it's not just me cause everyone talks about it while in group so any hints from anyone would be appreciated. No Reply. I have the same problem especially when crazy cube is on. I dare not go near the thing as the game totally freezes up.

The reason behind that could be that there might be many players log in on the map which in this case can make server a little bit laggy. Also your slow broadband speed can have a bad impact on this. Back in 2012 game has less things there was not such things like 3D etc.
Could you copy server address and then copy the address, open "CMD" then type ping int1.darkorbit.com **(I have used GE1 for example)** and tell me what ping you've got. Also chrome is heavy browser so if you have low spec computer I would recommend you to use different browsers like "opera" or "comodo". Please keep me up to dated with the process if you will still struggle I would recommend that you contact your language support via ticket.

I pinged the server "int12.darkorbit.com" and the average ping is 98ms. That doesn't seem very high to me and I don't think it should be causing the problems i'm having. I have tried firefox browser but when it was loading at first it was very slow. It was ok after that until I moved a few more maps and then it was slow again.

Ping is high, if you log in on the map and start playing it will increase more. Have you clear cookies on your browser ? Also do you have many other software's running in background that use your broadband connection? If you check your fps in game can you check the memory usage ? and see what it get to when you fly for long time ? That could cause lag as well as it happened to my friends, they always had to restart the game. I would recommend to use other browser like "maxthon" for example and see if you will get lags again.
