[GI] Locking Players with the Mini Map

I have played Dark Orbit for the longest time, by coincidence I have took note that sometimes I can lock a player with the Mini map and I don't know if that's a glitch or what. Over the Years that I have Played I have only done this a few times by luck, really, I don't Know how I did it, I clicked on the mini Map and I locked cloaked enemy or lock an npc this is strange to me... I don't know if that is a Skill, or just luck or a Glitch. Any input. Is there a way to lock NPC, Players using the Mini Map by what I have seen yes there is I just dont know the trick

 

From my experience this is just simple luck.

I am not aware of any glitch of this type.

That is a good topic and Point. I want to what to know if anyone knows how to do that. I was told by a player that he can lock players with the mini map and this statement is true, because I have done this too some how not realizing how it was done, just said to myself " wow I locked a player with the mini map" and I tried it again and a gain was not able to repeat the process. I have done this a few times over years too I want to see if anyone out there knows how to do this trick...

Tho I think I will have better luck getting to the Cube Grave Yard than locking a player with the mini map again lol
