[GI] Mac OS X El Capitan latest version issues

Hi there,

I have a big problem and support on my national forum is not able to help me, so I am asking U for help. Pls forgive me my language mistakes.

I started to play DO and it was running great, after 3 days of gaming it suddenly stopped working from nothing. Here is the issue, I can login to dark orbit lobby, watch hangar, buy something in auctions and other stuff, but I can't launch the game. The Start button is death or kind of frozen. So no window appears and if I right click on "start" button, there are only picture option. Meaning, my browser think, that this is just a picture(the Start button) So I tried to install Mozzila, Opera, Chrome (originally played on Safari) and there was still same problem. So I tried to re-install Flash player, Java and watch for settings(of Mac and Safari), it was useless, I haven`t found anything to identify the source of this issue. I deleted Avast, it was also without any benefit. So I am quite upset and helpless.

The START button on the back page normally shows as .gif image when inspecting it with right click, but there are java script instances behind it. Does it slightly highlight when you hover over it?
Make sure you have the latest Java installed and that it is properly enabled in your browser. Really not much of an advice but worth a shot.

 

Yes, it does. When I hover over it, it is a little bit highlighted. Well, I have latest Java and Flash, so there shouldn`t be problem. I am afraid, I got some virus and it doesn`t allow me to play it. All settings are fine, I have never changed a thing there. Well, I probably need to reinstall my mac

 

As always try clearing cache restarting computer and also maybe restart router, these are the first things they will ask you to do. Then try again, i use chrome and it works just fine for me.

 

Do you find you have issues with other things on the computer? When playing any other games does it seem to do anything like this? I have not worked on a Mac in over a year, but am thinking you can change it to how it was at an earlier date. Now I am mad I can't think of what is called and I used to fix a friends every couple months for 3 years. Anyways, you may try that to see if it helps any. Sometimes there is an update that muddles with the settings, and you can't get simple language (English in my case) explanations for what was done.

 

Unfortunately I have the same issue with another browser games with similar "start" button. I am afraid, there will be no option, than getting computer to the default option and save my data. I think, I have tried everything, that can be done by average computer user So I am out of option to fix that... Maybe U R right, I could try reverse some updates.

 

I have used that to clear up issues with many computers to include my own. Its a pain and very time consuming but helps a lot. Unfortunately my chat issue is not so lucky. Good Luck.
