Does moth formation stacks with kami?

What do you mean?
Are you asking if you can use Moth Formation, along with the PET's Kami?
-Yea, you can.

PET's kami will always work, unless your HP is not getting damaged. -That happens when you have 5/5 pilot points in Shield Mechanics, and use the Crab formation, along with the B02 shields. In this case, your shields will receive all damage, but not HP, so a PET's kami will not work.

 

It could happen without shield mechanics too, crab makes shield mechanics unnecessary as it doesn't overflow to 112% absorption, rather 100%. So even with no points in shield mechanics you would still get 100% absorption with crab.

 

I mean does the kami do 20% penetration still with moth

 

No moth only affects lasers, nothing else.

 

Crab: Increases Shield absorption by 20%
B02 Shields: 80% reflection.

80% + 20% = 96%
(80 * 1.2) = 96

With B02s alone and crab, you should still receive 4% of the HP damage, unless you can provide me with evidence that you can't

Pilot Sheet's Shield Mech.: Withstand 12% more damage

80% + 12% = 92%
-It's different here, than the previous; crab adds a percentage of your shields' absorption back onto it, while shield mech actually adds on.
(80 + 12)

Now factor in crab
92% +20% = 110.4% (Back down to 100%, cause it game can't go over)
(90 * 1.2) = 110.4

I have noticed in my PvP battles, where there are people that do not have shield mech, but use crab, and when I shoot them, their HP does take damage. But please, feel free to find out to prove me wrong

 

No, you cant stack moth with kami , once you kami and kami will do full DMG it will do always half to HP and half to shields. So if u hit enemy and it will show 75k DMG , kami will split 37,5k dmg to shields and HP. If you using kami while using moth, it doesnt mean enemy will get 50k HP to hull and 25 to shield.

 

useing moth formation has nothing to do with kami u can do both if your implying that if u have moth on that ur pet dammige regardless of it comeing from lasers or kami goes more towards the hp due to the moth then no it dosent
