[GI] NEW DRONE DESIGN

So looking at the new Halloween design, I have a few questions.

1. It appears that I have to take off my Havocs or Hercs to put them on my ship. Is this correct.
2. The Demon Drone DD-D-01 (second to last on Event FAQ) is supposed to be available for purchase. However, I only see it in the Uridium Shop. So where is it?

1. Correct, but only for now. We are in the process of adding support for you to run both design types at once: Appearance designs (Demon Drone) and Stat based designs (Havocs / Hercs).

The update last week that's referenced here is part of this work.


2. I'll check with folks once they get in this morning, but it looks like the FAQ may be incorrect. The DD-D-01 design is in the Uridium Shop, which makes sense to me. I'm not sure why it's listed as Payment in the FAQ.

One last question...On the gate...

I know its a time event but under the Event Rankings page I do not see Gate times listed. Is it posted somewhere else?

I must say the gate looks awesome but ..big but its too hard for people that are noobs this gate wasn't thought out right for everyone only uber players .my opinion you wil see once you enter how hard it will be for others weaker than ourselves

 

well i agree with you it pretty hard for everyone even for ufe unless if they u use there best ammo
hmm im in wave 47 i dont know when i m gone finish this one so if someone finished it plz tell me how many waves left for me and another question isnt supposed that bat drone formation be in shop ?

 

We'll keep an eye on the tuning feedback from different power ranges throughout the day & tomorrow.

As you may have noticed with other recent events, when we see actionable feedback that fits the data we're getting or errors that need to be addressed (like this morning), we'll do our best to act immediately to improve things.

I am noob player, barely with 15 LF-3. I have finished the second part of the gate: Saimon, UberSaimon, UberMordon. I have to say that it starts becoming hard for me (and anyone else without 150k+ shields and drone formations). UberMordon's took me a while, because I had to constantly back off and repair because of their damage and range. No formations, and it becomes hard. @RickDekard I think you should have done this gate a bit easier, especially on the lower waves, of course, for the low players that have low damage and shield.

Overall, the gate seems really interesting and I am really sorry that I won't be able to go much further into it Seems a lot of fun to miss.

 

I knew this would be hard as on my server the uber fe players have used some crazy ammo techs for this gate I think a noob cant do this with lf3 I feel sorry for them @RickDekard this will take them all day all night all day me and some friends have already been I here since it came on none stop shooting lol this gate made things worse for the noobs sad to say they can not complete this @RickDekard TRY doing this gate please 1 in a fe ship then 2 in uber ship both are still hard lol I hope the reward balances hm used in the gate ;DDD

 

Totally agree. It is hard, with 15 LF-3, it is really hard. I don't think I will keep doing this gate if some balance changes do not come out, because boxing will give me better rewards for the same time I am in the gate, really. It seems so awesome gate, but no. If it takes me 2 hours to complete one wave, I won't do it. It would be good if we got 2 different gates like the P.E.T attack event. I was more than glad on that event that I could finish the gate, even though I had 6-7 LF-3's.

 

I think DO will start making a lil more money if they make it possible to have both drone designs on at once. A lot of people will buy the designs in payment.

 

You will be able to have both drone designs equipped soon. They confirmed this: you can have Havoc with this new drone designs equipped at the same time.
