[GI] No Prometium in X-4 maps?

For "Beneath the Martian Flag" the player must collect 1000 prometium and endurium on enemy X-4 maps. After collecting the 1000 Endurium I began looking for prometium. The only problem being that I could not find ANY of it. As of writing this I have been searching 1-4 and 3-4 for 22 minutes trying to find ANY prometium. Is it possible to find it? Does it only spawn at certain times of the day? What's the problem?

I believe you have to destroy the NPCs there & collect their cargo.
Prometium only generates in x-2 & x-1 maps.

If the Prometium collected from the NPCs don't count towards the quest (NPCs on enemy x-4 map for you), try collecting in enemy x-2 map.

 

Yep, I am an idiot. The cargo counts towards the 1000. Thank you!

That means I wasted like 15 minutes manually collecting 1000 Endurium

And that wasn't you being dumb, that's the games fault for not really mentioning you can collect cargo boxes xD

Unless you read the mission "story," I think it's mentioned in there.

 

It is a wording thing and I questioned SUPPORT about it and they could not even give me assistance except that there WAS Prometium found in the x-4 maps yet in 6 years of playing I have never found these rocks anywhere except x-1 and x-2 maps. The information given in the dialogue or assignment only states to "Collect" but does not specify from what method (I was under the assumption if the rock was shown it was raw materials) but found it was from the ships so I did not waste the time collecting the individual rocks.
