    Hello,

How can I obtain this information (in the title)? I notice that when I kami in x-7 all the kristallin's run away (almost dead), but when I kami in my alpha they still have like 15% health left, so are they stronger than normal sk's?

Also on the wiki it says that mordons have 20k hp 10k shields, so beta mordons should have 40k hp and 20k shields, so thats 60k in total, however these don't die either from one kami (75k), instead they all run away to the corners, and make me have to shoot them *sigh*. it almost looks like they have 40k of each. (if so i might buy lvl 2 kami as well).

So if someone could let me know how the HP/Shields of NPC in gates differ from notmal NPC's, or if kami is less effective or somthing, that would be most appriciated. :)

    Regards,

  2. alpha npcs are the same as npces on the maps beta is x2 stronger and gamma is x3 there was a change a few years go between gate and npcs on the maps but that was down to damg to hp/shields .....

npcs in games u could moth a bk and take all its hp and it still having half sheild where npcs on the maps u cant do that

the dmg from a kami is 75k on a direct hit asin landing right on top of a npc the fever the npc is from the pet kami the less dmg is dose

  3. As stated by Stringshot, the reaction to the Kami all depends on how many are in the area. With you using a level 1 kami, you will not cause as much damage to the group in the alpha gate overall. With so many, the damage is spread very then. Once you get them into the corners, you could just kami them again until they are dead.

Thank you both for replies :)

Do I understand correctly, that if there are more aliens surrounding my ship, then my pet will do less damage to each? e.g if there are 40 mordons around me, will it do less damage than if I kami with 20 mordons around me? I thought it did 75k to any NPC that was on top of the pet as it explodes, no?

Is there any more information about this damage spread? I was not aware of this. (as in, is it like every NPC that surrounds your ship the kami damage decreases by 0.2%?)

Sorry guys I'm just trying to figure out why the 40 beta mordons don't die after 1 kami :p

  5. I don't know where they talk about the spread, but you basically take the damage and divide it by the number of npc around you. I always hate if I use it on a large npc, because a lot of small ones are always there to make it worthless for me to use.

There must be some formula for this, as obviously it isn't a straight division (75,000/40 != 60k or something). Maybe a correction factor somewhere.
Anyway thanks for letting me know about this I didn't know.

If a mod could confirm this, then you can close, thanks

  7. There is nothing in the FAQ about the distribution of damage, but the total damage delivered is 25K, 45K, or 75K depending on the level of Gear owned. This damage is distributed to NPC's in the damage radius of 250, 350, or 450.

Hmm, I am totally confused now, please can somebody clarify this!

    Statement 1.) Alpha NPC's shields+HP are the same as normal NPC's shields+HP
Statement 2.) Beta NPC's are double that of Alpha NPC's
Statement 3.) A level 3 kami does 75k damage to all NPC's very close to it (or at least that one where it is sitting on)

One of these statements is incorrect as it implies that a beta mordon should die after one kami!

If they are all correct, should i report this as a BUG to support?

    Thank you all

@mods, sorry if i posted in wrong section- I didn't really feel it was an 'issue'- as I didn't think it was a bug, but just something I wasn't aware of.

  9. The big thing to think about is that you normally have a group of npc's when you kami so one mordon popping probably won't happen as the others in the area take some of the damage as well.

  10. The issue is the total damage from the Kamikaze is 75K not multiplied by the number of NPC's near you. The more NPC's in the blast radius the less damage done to each one, as they all take some of the impact.
