[GI] odd errors

Using the BETA download browser:

While on a specific server (ie: GA2) and at a base, trying to swap ships is impossible unless the client and backpage are logged off and then restarted.

I had logged on earlier, did some quests and then went back to base.
Tried swapping ships and kept getting the little pop-up saying too many redirects clear cache.
- used the provided clear cache and got the 'OK' mssg.
- still could not swap ships.
- logged out of client and clicked RESTART on backpage: no go
- X'd out of that tab, then logged off backpage.
- Ran CCleaner and it showed there were 23 bytes that were cleaned out.
- Restarted the game in the download browser again.
- before starting the client again, I swapped ships successfully.
- Clicked START and the client fired up no problem.
- After a short stint at game playing, decided to see if the swap was an ongoing issue.
- Went back to base and tried to swap ships.
--- same issue as above.
--- Same in-game clear cache mssg and response.
---- logged off client and tried to swap ships.
---- could not swap.
------ at that point could not even look at the ships inventory/hangar.
------ could get the message about clearing cache which did not help.
---- logged off the backpage again
---- Running CCleaner again showed only 21 bytes were cleared.
-- Restaring the game allowed a ship swap to take place.

Then I tried switching servers.
Would not allow a server switch (ie: to GB2) until the same logoff client and back-page sequence occurred.
I finally got to the GB2 server, started up the client and got the calendar item, then immediately logged off the client and from backpage changed servers back to GA2 successfully.
NOTE: I did not do any ship movement while on GB2.
Is this going to be the way the game is played now?
Drop outs while on base?

Please stop the frivolous events and get the download client running smoothly. Second the majority of your current bugs should be addressed; THEN start doing the event stuff.
