[GI] PET question

    Lets say if I put Kamikaze gear level 3 in my PET which makes 75 000 dmg
    My question is if I put Alien protocols too into the PET is it increasing this 75 k dmg when my PET boooom
    or its boosting only the laser weapons into the PET ?
    With other words can I boost the effect of the Kamikaze with this protocols ? It would be nice to make 100 k dmg + .. with kami

    And by the way is there a way to reduce this cooldown of 30 sec ?
     
  2. First the alien protocol is an increase of the damage caused by the lasers and does not effect the Kami. The 75 K dmg is spread among the NPC's within range of the PET's Kami and you are stuck with the cool down as the boosters have no effect on the PET cool down times.

    This is not correct, the 75k is applied to each NPC not spread among them, although not a full 75k and depends on how close to the pet they were. If it was spread among the NPCs within range then kami wouldn't even kill a wave of lordakians in an alpha gate.
     
  4. HMHY is correct. The damage is spread between all the NPC/Enemy playerss within the affect of the Kami. Also, boosters and protocals have no effect on the Kami.

    Dr T, while the Kami will not kill a wave of Lordakians, it will clear out a wave of Lordakia's.

  5. As Stated in the >FAQ<;

    If equipped the kamikaze gear will cause your Pet to launch one last devastating attack to your enemy. When you, or your PET, reach a certain percentage of damage the PET will launch itself towards your enemy and explode. This explosion does a maximum damage, dependent on the level of the gear. Increasing the level of this gear will increase the damage of the explosion, and increase the area over which the PETs explosion causes damage.

    Since the damage is to the HP it would kill 37.5 Lordakia in the Alpha Gate, assuming you have a level 3 Kami as you have stated the damage for in your statement. This can also bee seen when setting of Kami on a bunch of SK's as they do not pop but start running to the sides of the map upon being exposed to a Kami blast. This is also why it will not kill all of the trash accumulated around a Sibelon if you are trying to do so with the kami, some of them fly off to sit till found (Boss Saimon particularly).

    If it was to all NPC's you would be able to take 3/4 of the health from every Devolarium near the PET when it exploded and you do not.

    I'm sorry but PSK and HMHY you are both wrong. Kami affects shields AND hps and is NOT distributed among npcs. If it was, a single kami could not wipe out an entire wave of saimons or lordakias in an alpha gate since there are 40 lordakias and 80 saimons. It shouldn't even come close if you were correct (since for saimon 80 x 6k =480k hps) but it does kill them so you are obviously wrong. Nowhere in that FAQ does it state the damage is distributed, it simply states the radius of the damage is increased.

    Not to mention, if you were correct, then if you were using kami on the 20 uber sibs wave in halloween gate it should take 320 kamis to kill them. In fact, they are running to corners at ~35-36.

    20 uber sibs x 1.2 million hps = 24 million hps /75k kami = 320 kamis to kill.

    The reason you don't get the sks running to the corners of 1 kami is that is does NOT HIT JUST HPS AND it is 75k MAX damage. To confirm, have you never looked at an sk after you kami it? It has no shields! SHOCKING for a move you claim only affects hps!!! If you were right and the damage is spread out, you would have to kami the sk wave in alpha gate ~40 times to kill them.

    Simply put, lvl 3 kami does max 75k damage combined to shields and hull of every ship in the blast radius.

    In conclusion, facts don't lie and you just clearly don't know what you are talking about.
