[GI] PET Skins

    Just wondering if anyone knows if the PET skins have any effect on fuel consumption?

    Fuel consumption is computed from Level, Gears, and Protocols and the >actual< formula can be seen by clicking actual (in blue). The skins have no effect on this they are just for looks.

    Yeah I knew that, it was just a clan member that wanted to know as his pet runs out of fuel faster than mine does. I have opened and use all gears and protocol slots and have no skin and he has a skin but he does not use or has opened many gears and protocol slots.

    There is a consumption protocol that slows the fuel consumption if you have it and he does not this will be the cause if both PETS are the same level and equipped the same the difference would be how active the 2 accounts are.

    Yeah, we got all that covered. I know its not a bug or anything. (wow, somethings not bugged lol). Think its just his imagination. Thanks for your help.:)

    Best way to check is both of you buy full load of fuel and play then see how much it will allow you to buy at the end of the play time.

    PET fuel consumption is dependent on many variables. How many times does one person repair their pet as compared to another, fuel consumption.

    Cargo Trader when used is fuel consumption.

    Those are two that can be noticed easily when comparing notes for consumption comparison.

    My P.E.T is a darn gas guzzler hands down, but I make it work :D

    Pet level 15.. 10 X LF4(upgraded lvl 16) ..17 X BO2.. Hit Points 197.6K..
    Shields 185.6K

    Pet Gear...all level 3..
    Auto looter, Enemy locator, Rep, Cargo trader +30%, Kamakazi 75K, Combo ship repair, Auto Resource Collector

    Pet Protocols all level 3 ..
    Precision targeting +4%, Evasion +3%, Hit point +4%, Laser damage +4%,
    Alien damage +6%, Radar-x2, Bonus Box salvage +3%, Shield +4%

    Gas guzzler I tell ya :rolleyes:

    PET skins have no affect on your fuel consumption :cool: Protocols do have affect - just keep it - blank

    DO nerfed' many of the PETs stuff - so?

    I noticed that if you dont move for a while fuel goes down alot faster.
