[GI] pilot info

trying to look up info on pilot who shot me down a couple of times.how do i go about that?....thanks

 

Go to your loogbook and copy the pilot's name, select "Pilot Sheet" then click on "Your Pilot Profile". The popup should open with a search field. Paste the name into this field and press "Search". Note that some browsers automatically treat a window that should open as a pop-up and block it, so you have to allow for that window to open (even without Adblock or similar addons installed).

The search box is at the bottom of the "Pilot Profile" window that opens when you click on "Your Pilot Profile" at the bottom of the Pilot Sheet page.

Step by Step

1. get Pilot name you want to search for "Ctrl + C" is easiest from logbook
2. click on Pilot Sheet
3. got to bottom of page (under edit profile) click "Your Pilot Profile"
4. go to bottom of this page and insert name in box under "Search other players' profiles:"
5. this should open a new tab/window with the information on the pilot you are looking for.

good luck as this is not all that informative if they have not made their profile public.

What browser? Chrome blocks the new window by default and it has to be allowed manually.
Another possibility that doesn't get blocked - go to the main page (click Home icon in the upper left corner) then click the name of any top 10 player (or yourself). A small pop-up should appear for several seconds. Click on the player's name in that window and the new tab/window should open.
On the upper right corner of any profile page is a search box, just like the one on the popup opened by clicking on "Your Pilot Profile". Just paste the wanted player name in there and press "search".

 

Did you try clicking the name when it was found? It has been a long time since I have searched for anyone so I am not exactly sure if the next steps.
