  1. Hello!
Every day I play darkorbit without any connection problems, buggs and etc. But one day the site/browser couldn't load in US1 (when I try to log in). The page doesn't load, it says:

    us1.darkorbit.bigpoint.com
    doesn't respond too long.
    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

When I try to log in with my telephone with the same Wi-Fi/Internet, the problem is the same, BUT if I change the internet to Mobile Internet, it loads, without any problem. When I was in my friends house, I asked him to use his computer to log in into darkorbit. It logged in succesfully. It is interesting that the problem is happening ONLY in US1, if I try to join the other servers, everything is fine.
So it seems that the problem is my internet. I have tried many things (clearing the cache, the flash, turning off the antivirus and the firewall, trying other browsers/Mozila/Chrome/ , trying to log in from my other computer, resetting the router/modem) but the problem still stays. I have been playing the game for one month without any issues escept for this one.
I will be very glad for any advices.
    Danny

If you have cleared your browser and flash cache and a router restart and rebooted and you still have the same issue there is another option and that is to flush your local DNS cache. To do this.
    • Click Start.
    • Enter cmd in the Start menu search text box.
    • Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
    • Run the following command: ipconfig /flushdns. If the command succeeds, the system returns the following message: Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

  3. I did it and it doesn't load :(

  4. Try to hard wire your internet connection instead of using wi-fi. I know sometimes the delay caused by atmospheric conditions can cause issues with the connection. Also if the server is more active it can cause further issues. D O may even say the server was under a DDoS attack causing the issue at the time you were trying to log in. How many other devices are connected to your wi-fi and in use, as these can cause issues also? We used to get notices of when a server was going to see some issues from having maintenance done on them but have not seen any notice of this for a very long time and might be what the issue was also.

I am sorry I can only speculate as to what the issue might be.

I could only go from what was posted and you specified "one day" and "wi-fi" so I responded accordingly.

  5. I am using a hard wire connection to the computer not Wi-Fi (I don't have wireless :( ). There are only 2 devices connected (the computer and a laptop, and sometimes my phone). The issue is here for more than a week, I have tried to log in every hour of the day but still can't (doesn't load), so I think it couldn't be from the server.
