[GI] Question about status

So, you click on a player in the Overall Rankings page and go to their profile. On that page it says, "Sorry, but this page doesn't exist!" and the rank displayed for that player is Basic Space Pilot. What is up with this player? Is it banned? Permanently?

So if they are banned why is this person still listed as the number 1 spot in the Title overview? In fact there are three people in front of me on a title page and they are all banned. I play fair, yet banned players still get rewarded even after BP took their accounts away for whatever reason. Typical.

 

They are not necessarily banned as a Basic Space Pilot, these are players who have been inactive for over 4 weeks, they are removed after 6 months when D O terminates the account (these accounts can, sometimes, be recovered with the proper information).

I believe a player on a Perma-Ban (botter ban) are removed from the records at time of ban.

Again, the players you are seeing may just not have logged into the game in the last 4 weeks, or longer. Look at the Top User Rankings and see how many players are B S P there.

 

Title's positions on the title page are calculated on the amount of time a title is held in minutes played while holding the title, should a player be banned while holding the number one spot then that player will remain there until another player beats the time that the number one spot player has. As names are not automaticaly removed from the title listings it it possible for that player to remain at the number 1 spot after being banned, if the player is the current holder of a title then the title will be passed onto a random NPC after 48 hours as the banned player will not be able to login to the game and who ever then obtains that title will have to hold it longer than the banned player to leapfrog to the top spot. If the banned player as lost the title but still holds the best time then the current holder must also better the banned players time to go to the top spot.

 

Means hes banned, but idk why they are still in the ranking system

 

Nope could also mean that the player has not played in a very long time that happens all the time you try to whispear at people and it says player does not exist or is not online its just Do basically takes em off the system. If he was banned u would not even see his acc it be gone.

Okay. So his name was removed from the top users list. The guy was ranked in the top 5 and it's not been there for a couple months, but his name has not been removed from the Title lists? Why?
