[GI] Question about the tournament 5vs5 pls answer

Bulgarian support said that there can't be clan-applications for the 5 + 2 players on the 5 versus 5 tournament, so what i mean is that we can't apply as a whole team, they said each player should write individual application and they wil choose from all players... Are they right or no? Because we and some other team didn't registered alone, we did complete 7 players team registration.

Example:
MOD says: Player 1. ID-*****.server-******.nick-******* (on one post)
Player 2. ID-*******.server-*******.nick-******(not on the same post, on other)

What we didlayer 1.ID-*****.server-******.nick-*******
Player 2.ID-*****.server-******.nick-*******
Player 3.ID-*****.server-******.nick-******* - the whole in one post.
and like this with 7 different players so we have a complete team and they can choose between our team and other teams...

Who is right, MODS please give answer.

 

The actual thread where people were registering was closed but it was stated they wanted complete teams to apply and they would choose the actual team to represent from those teams that applied. Out of the thousands of players in D O a total of 84 are allowed to participate in the Tournament. And it is just a matter of someone making a choice who those will be, nothing about abilities, skills, wants, desires, just if the person making the decision likes the names of the players applying.

 

Well, the tournament is bracket system, so it would be better if there are bracket systems between the country team to choose the best team to participate in this new event. only this is the solution of this problem. Tournaments between all the teams from one country who want to participate in the big country... Anyway.. expecting Mod to say to me if full 7 players team registered together they can participate because Bulgarian moderators said "no".. German forum, English forum, Romanian forum.. everywhere full 7player teams write 1 post about all of their team...

It's possible that the BG team handled choosing their team differently. If they choose to pull a team from individual sign ups that may just have been how they thought best to handle it at the time.

according to the other forums and what method of choosing they accepted, its not fair!! and who chooses the teams? Mods? and how they choose them? their friends and brothers, sisters maybe...

There's no reason to immediately jump the "playing favorites" accusation. If there's more tourneys like this in the future then there will at least be more experience and possible ideas for the process. For now, we had a few days to get a team figured out and here we are.

Whether the mod team does it or higher up, I shipped it to let those above decide^^, only five(+two subs) could go on to the tourney, someone was (unfortunately) going to need to be left out somewhere regardless of who figured out the teams.
