[GI] Ranks

Is the ranks still messed up? Mine was fine and I heard people were having problems with theirs , which now mine is messed up.......... It would be simply amazing to log on just one day just one and not see something messed up.

 

Yeah it happened during one of the server downtime and i think the ranks got bugged and dropped very low. My next rank dropped around 200k points but after the next reset they went back to normal.

 

Its the same on my account

 

My next rank went up 160k overnight

 

I believe they went down and back up. The ranks were bugged I hope this clear anything.

 

The bug that drops your rank has been around as long as I have played this game. 5 or more years I'm guessing. could look but thats not going to happen. It drops and then comes back up later. Funny thing is it was on the old server and made it's way to the new one.

 

Well no it is still prwvalant. I have dropped a rank also.

 

If your dropping rank and staying that way. It could be do to a few folks changed companys. Nothing drops your rank faster. You would think a change in company would come with a drop to the nexts rank below the one you have. Don't think you shouldn't be rewarded for changing.

 

Rank is just a bunch of " $abre rattling " means nothing except to those "braggart$....in my humble opinion..0-0 ...

 

Rank is buggered and has been for quite some time.

Main reason it became buggered was due to the incredible onslaught of the NPC bots a few years ago.
They have ability to work constantly killing NPC's and collecting boxes.​

Well, in the past few months these bots have returned but seem to be even better at detecting nearby enemies & escaping death.

The ranking seems to be fluctuating greatly lately and I personally think it has to do with these zombie accounts.
When they are caught, and removed from the system ranks will be affected.​

Also, as previously mentioned when players move companies, this greatly affects the ranks.

Last time I moved I lost 230k Rank Points, which allowed ,my original 4mil Rank Points to be taken up by the rest of the company I left. The 3.7 mil Rank Points I had left was inserted into the ranking of the company I moved to. Of course affecting the "company" ranking.​

That is the affect of just one player.

Recently on my server GA1 quite a few clans have moved all of their players from one company to another for various reasons.
Be it wars, missions, or to amalgamate the clan back into a one company clan getting away from the multi-clan faction.

All during this, players are progressing at a pretty good pace "missions with high Exp rewards, double reward gate days etc."

Now consider ... the deletion of multiple zombie accounts boom! big affect on ranking.
