[GI] Re-Upgrading drones back to 16

Well, last month, I fought some guy, and hit me with 675k.... 6 of my drones popped... all my drones were repped the same and were sitting on 24%... and Apis and Zeus were at 17% give or take. Make a long story short they popped when Aegis hit me with 675k... Support would not honor my drones even tho I had video of the event and where my drone damage was at before I fought this guy. When I died, 6 of my drones were missing so I checked the drone damage and the two Iris that were left were at 50% and the Zeus and Apis drones were at 75% wired... I have not seen this since 3 or 4 years ago now its back whatever it is.

However, now I have to upgrade 6 drones back to lvl 16 cause I am not getting that 35% bonus on my upgraded lasers and Bo2s I am sitting 20% without upgrades

 

Sorry this happened to you. Support never goes with video from what I have been hearing, with claims that video can be doctored. But they should be able to look at the stats, "should" being the operative word. Just depends on the capability and know-how of the support member.

You, will find that most of your mods and staff play in East 1 and East servers...

I have given up hope on this game about 2 years ago when I found out how it works...


Now, I just pick up boxes and kill npcs from time to time... I have UFE and hits like a peanut... compared to some of these noob ships with all LF3s hitting 275k 375k or better, my old LF4 ship can not compete with these new LF3s ships hitting that type of damage...

When I had my drones popped I was seeing damage of 675k from an Aegis

 

Idk if your actually telling me the truth bc your not showing any proof so its all sounds like make believe or u trying to get free drones which wont happen.

 

I bought them back the same day I don't need charity of any type... I am a long time player of Dark Orbit since 2008 so you can say I have seen just about everything in this game and have fought the best and the ones that don't like to loose too... Invincibility or not I still go after them

 

You want him to show you the proof from a month ago? How will that help you?

I am sure he will tell you that some players out there pop other players drones day in and day out... but he wont tell you how its done...

has to do with the configs according to him lol... that some Aegis have special powers that no other ships have, and it's all because of configs lol....


I can tell you this... Keep an eye out with who you fight look at the shields and HP...

If the shields are the only ones that go down very slow then HP last then you know something is wrong and don't matter what formation you use

 

I am unsure what the point of this thread is then if you don't want compensation, or charity and support won't do anything about your drones or the apparent hacker. I'm sorry it happened but this has been an unresolved issue for years.

Compensation, replacing the cost of iris's and the upgrade all lvl 16, would had been nice back then, but we all know what support has to say about that. The point is to lookout for hackers, and use the CPU drone chip on both configs lol. And I am not sure if the Drone CPU works for that matter lol... I have never read or heard of it working. Tho, I have read that guy using drone CPU on both configs a long time ago still lost all his drones and the charges on the drone cpu never worked

 

I use the drone repair cpu and it has worked for me every time. It has saved my drones on countless occasions as I pop a lot. You can pick it up in the auction house for 10,000 credits.

I think that this thread is about several issues you have experienced in game. However I have never encountered any of them and the number of bot and cheat users has gone down a lot in the past few months. I am sure that support is aware that this damage/drone exploit is in use, and may have already corrected it or if not, will do in the next round of bot removal.

Wow sounds like a support case from me !
I have the repair drone on both configs, but don't count on it and manually check at login; just to be safe.

I don't understand how much somebody hits you and you pop and then lose 75% of your drones life!
Maybe it's part of the game that I don't understand or you need to contact support.
Please inform me how somebody could six kill drones in one battle at such low stats; i don't understand it.

And it would be good public info.

Losing prom and sep on lasers is a separate issue and a new forum post should be created. That does happen from time to time and is annoying, however I failed to see how this cost you money.

 

I do remember seeing high damage on the video I had took up to 675k with rsb

For someone flying an Aegis that is damn good damage that my ship can't hit with boosters and full LF4s

Kara told me hey, you did not have the drone CPU on both configs that is why we are not replacing your drones..

I have heard of this happening about 3 or 4 years ago then it stopped so I stop using the drone CPU and have never had a problem until now

I now see that the hack is back or glitch as some would call it.

Yeah, My drones had low percent on damage 24 and 17%

NEXT in one battle the damage of the Apis and zeus go sky rocket to high damage I don't understand it myself....

That's not all I seen Was shooting at this EIC and never landed one shot on his ship out of 500 shots fired never hit him and I have full bio not to miss.

wired stuff going on lets all have hope that BP does something about it

 

I suspect an old glitch. Got me a few years ago. Lost 8 iris one death, the drones were at a very low damage level I check them every login and death. Support gave the ol' standard blah blah.

They said "their records show'd my drones where maxed out for damage nothing they could do".
I replied "Show me the records". That was 5 years ago, still waiting to see them ​

All this technology, this is all they can come up with.

DJXL.SA.TX, I am sorry to hear that you lost your drones, however as Support has already answered your question, there is nothing else we can do here in Forums. Support is the highest authority in these matters.
