[GI] sales

over the past few weeks there have been sales on every single day and it's been lf4 days and the lot, yesterday and today there have been no sales, have the sales stopped or will there be some more soon? i'd imagine there will be more as bigpoint are being bought if i'm correct so they will want to milk all the money they can out of this game, so why aren't there any sales?

 

well , there were sales basically because it was easter event . You probably will see other sale but not everyday and with a gap between them .

Also i might be wrong but BP does not mean DO.
DO , has his own developers and they are the people who create events , also the people who decide when sales should be. I guess that DarkOrbit Developers are getting a very big amount from the profits to continue developing their game. Maybe the only think where BP has a say in the prices , like the biggest uridium packed should be 75 euro

 

It is not possible to put a sale on every day, you need to take into consideration that DO needs to make money to be a viable business.

 

If a person paid attention to what was going on, they would see that every month there is some SPECIAL Event to open wallets to infuse the game with CASH. As the game has matured to a point where the normal streams have started drying up they have to come up with new ways to get the wallets open and hope to get new wallets to fleece.

We have seen evidence there is a planned Event (not issued by D O) starting next week with a ton of NEW sales Events included. IF you were OLD School Player you knew SALES were FEW and FAR BETWEEN, reducing the price of gate spins was not seen and a special meant they added something extra to be bought in the SHOP (e.g. during and after MHH).

What happened to the days of work hard for what you want and buy it when you were able to do so? Now we wait till it is on SALE so we can get it even cheaper and complain because it is not on sale all the time. Remember when the PET Gear was a limited duration item, I sure do, and how about the people who had stock piled the stuff when they decided to make the changes to make them a PERMANENT item and raised the price so high it was necessary to be a WALLET to afford a PET. Only time we saw a sale for the PET was a package for "PAYMENT" which included a PET (but was aimed at those who did not already have a PET) that is still in use occasionally.
