[GI] Scatter Laser Question?

    A question for someone???

    Use of the scatter laser results in a range reduction. If a scatter laser is only installed on the pet does the ship get the range reduction or is that effect confined to pet operations.

    The range reduction is only on what they are assigned to. Exception is the Drones as they are included in ship, so they too affect the ship.

    It has been suggested these are best used on PET as it is a close-in fighter.

    I may be totally wrong here but I tried a full set of Scatter Lasers on my pet and yes in a fight where just sitting in one place they tend to work quite well. On the other hand, if the fight is moving (chasing or running) my pet seems to lag behind and doesn't hit as often.

    My suggestion would be, if you want to use scatter lasers on your pet, put them on your heavy side and use LF4's on your speed config.

    Ty guys. I was hoping that was the case HMHY. Reconsider your laser allocation SGT.;). can close my question has been answered. Actually you can delete it. :p:cool::mad::D
