[GI] Server Name Clarification

With regard to the upcoming merges, is server USA1 related to or the same as USA (East Coast)?

 

Are you referring to US East 1?

 

I have the same question - is there a difference between USA1 and US East 1 or are they the same server?

 

bisphenol this is my server menu as far any other listings it would probably stem
from what location in the world where that user may view their login server menu as. I know that USA 2 was merged to USA (West Coast) but my username looks like this My siggy is shown as how DO Support answers my requests

 

Oh well, that would explain why I have all the servers as you except USA 2 (East Coast). Since USA 2 was merged and I didn't have ship on it, I can no longer see it. But for you, it's the only way to get on your USA 2 ship that is now merged into USA (West Coast).

But I remember that mods and players alike corrected me when I just mentioned USA (East Coast). If memory serves me well, I was told that USA (East Coast) should be referred to as US East 1. So that's why I wrote that server name, although it is not listed on the server selection screen... nor is USA 1.

 

To answer your question:

USA (East Coast) is the same as USA1.
