Okay so I have made certain changes and records to verify I did not LOSE anything and forgot to change my Aegis, Citadel, and Spearhead to the BASE Ship, I guess I can classify myself as lucky I had a Goliath not assigned to the Hangar so I was able to keep my BASE Goliath. Since under the OLD Hangar System we could not use the Designs without having the BASE Ship why did we not get these assigned to the NEW Hangar system? Why is Support telling people they have to BUY these ships AGAIN?
I got properly compensated for the other (URIDIUM) ships I lost but feel cheated that I lost the compensation/ships just because I had a design assigned to them in the Hangar.
I luckily have not lost any of my equipment in my Hangar Inventory but see others have, is this a glitch or by design?
Please make the appropriate changes to the system to assign the BASE Ships of the Aegis, Citadel, and Spearhead to all accounts that do not have them BUT did have any of the designs associated with them assigned (basically if the ship was in a Hangar they need the ship back). It is not right to take something from someone because you have made a change to the game and turned designs into ships and taken the BASE ship away because the design was assigned.

 

I have lost the Vengeance and Goliath, but re-bought both from auction.

Hm, I am now surprised to see that people lost equipment with this update. Is this true? I mean, is it REALLY lost? If it is so, how can they prove that they lost LF-4's or whatever else they lost? How will these players get refunded?
That is not good, I don't like it. I guess I was in huge luck that I don't lost anything with this update. Luckily I didn't had Spearhead/Citadel/Aegis or any other special design because my account is new.

Honestly, I would have been thinking twice if that happened to me whether I should play the game again. Actually, I am thinking too right now - if with one update people lost their equipment for real, and no one is refunded, who will guarantee me that in year from now I won't loose my equipment?

 

Yes it is true lots of ppl lost cbs mods lvl16 we all know thats alot of uri this will be put on the back burner like every ting else....

 

No it is because of RESIDUAL programming on their computer, when you go through the normal clean-up they will return.

That is not from this update but a Glitch with the A.S. Update that is still being worked on.

 

Wait a bit. What is lost now? If I understood you correctly equipment is not lost, but ships only?

 

Ships were >compensated< if you had duplicated ships in Hangars, equipment lost is browser/flash/java/modem/router/computer storage of old programming when cleared they are being seen again. Ships not being Compensated but not available are the Aegis, Citadel, and Spearhead if you had a design assigned in the Hangars before the change. For some reason D O forgot these designs could not be assigned without the BASE Ship and thus automatically took them from us.

That is why I created the thread so they know the issue and might apply the ships properly, one good thing I owned both designs for 2 ships I did not own and now have them available to me for use but it sucks I do not have the Base ships for the other account where I had already bought them all. Lots of Credits (over 1 billion for the 3 ships) lost here as I won them in Auction, but nice compensation for other ships I owned as ALL of my Uridium ships were bought with Credits, some as low as 10K credits. Just hate to have lost these 400 Million + ships without compensation because of this update.

 

I want my Citadel, Aegis, Spearhead, Vengeance and Goliath back. I am not going to buy them again. What will be next, they delete everyones lf-4, shields and drones, so we would have to get them again?

It doesn't matter I don't use them, it's about a princip. Period.

 

Vengeance and Goliath are 10K in auction I had some not assigned to the Hangars so I guess that is why I still have them BUT the others I agree I do not want to have to BUY them again as they were not CHEAP in AUCTION. I lost 7 (us3) and 8 (us2) ships and was compensated for 6 each.

Just think all of those ships you got for having the designs instead of having to buy all of the ships for each one of them.

That is not good either. I mean, how can they compensate only 6 when you had more? I mean, I understand this update and ship duplicates. It is all good, but they had to think of something else to compensate all duplicate ships. Players payed billions for them, just so they are gone now. Maybe someone even have spent uridium on them?

 

It is because I had designs (Elite) on the 3 NEW ships and they ignored that I had to have the base ship to activate the designs.

 

Well, they shouldn't have ignored. Because, it is like ignoring someone spent money/credits/uridium on those ships.

 

i lost my aegis base ship but i still got the aegis elite design wow how could i use my elite design if i dont have my base ship and the shared booster is not freaking working.

 

Well, with the update you can use it. It is not anymore a design, it is a ship. Take a look at the shop, for example. You will notice the changes.

 

Yes it is something the Dev Team seemed to overlook and is why I started the thread with @ 2 of them to see what they were going to do about this. A little notice to us to remove all DESIGNS from ships would have been nice but they did not feel the need.

 

Its unbeliavable that we now cant change directly from surgeon to normal goli designs (kick, spectrum and so on) without need of redo our configs.

 

Well we have always had to make some modifications to the swap but not like this and they are still working to try to make a FIX for this issue. I must say they at least are acknowledging the issue they have created and working to resolve it for us.

 

Okay so I started not having a bunch of the ships I had and did the Standard Clearing and got everything except the Base Group Ships (A, C, S) but looks like I have everything else. Please compensate me by giving me these ships back, I have way to much invested in them to have to buy them again. It is not right because you have decided to make designs, that required the Base ship to use, into ships and not give us the Base ship because we were using a DESIGN on it.

 

Okay I have a similar situation as Hades and HMHY as I am missing my Base ships for then Aegis and Spearhead. I was credited for 4 extra ships lost but lost 7 total. Giving me these 2 ships back still has me short 1 compensation, but this might be because I had the Surgeon equipped to my Goliath in the Hangar but still had one that was not assigned a Hangar.

It is not right to classify a DESIGN as a Ship when making the compensation as we could not have been using the design if we did not have the Base ship to start with. Please verify how you decided to count the ships and compensation of same. Every Design should be ignored and every ship in the inventory should be either assigned or compensated as we had to BUY them to use them.

I just found a problem with the system. If you transfer equipment from one of your ships in a "Favorite Hangar" you have to de-assign the old ship and assign the new ship to be able to access it in the WARP hangars. This is something that needs to be corrected, we changed designs and they were in active hangar not placed where we needed to find our equipped ship.

Also be aware that placing the ship in the Hangar moves it to the x-1 map instead of leaving it where you had the ship to begin with.
