[GI] Some questions

1.What is the best way to get LF-4 ?
2.Pet radar protocols.. how many do i need to get view of full map so i can hunt meteroid's the best way, what is the optimal number how does it work?
3.Should i focus on getting hercs first or go for lf-4s first? (i have full havoc)

1) The chances of getting LF-4 from booty boxes is purely a matter of luck and there are alternate ways to get LF-4s like it can be obtained from events like Hitac (Lottery winners), gates like hades, epsilon and kappa (random chance) and event like Helix.
Personally I would suggest you to go with Kappa gates since you have chance to win Lf4 or Hercules drone design if you are lucky.
2) Always PET radar protocol (Level3) along with Enemy Locator Gear (Level 3), the more you have the better coverage you get for the map. Although having 3 to 4 Radar protocols is good enough.
3) It depends upon the style of your playing, if you are still building your ship I would suggest alternate between Zeta and Kappa gate.

So which ever works for you in better manner you have to go with that.

Just spam kappa gates, great honor points, chance for lf4 or herc, or the booster only JPA users want at the time.

 

1. Obtaining LF4's is not an over night process.. takes time to get 35+ or full on your goli. I've picked up many w booty boxes on special days and picked up many doing Kappa & Epsilon Gates also. Hades also has a chance at obtaining LF4's when completed.

2. I use 12 radar protocols when hunting Meteroids... It covers most normal maps 90% w enemy locator and will pinpoint the meteroid quickly. However, having a few radars on also works well. I just like to get the jump on them early.

3. As Dream Demon stated above.. spam Kappa gate - it will give you EITHER an LF4 (25%) or Herc (25%) 50% of the time. That's not bad odds !! Other 50% is booster or nothing (25% + 25%).

I'd like to dispute those numbers and say that no official statistics have been released (as far as myself, or anyone I know, are aware) regarding Galaxy Gate drop rates, and you should not consider them fact.

It's my upheld opinion that the numbers were fabricated at the release of the Kappa gate, and have stuck ever since.

 

Actually upon release, DO made that statement. Same as how they said zeta was 100% on first time, then changed the percentage claiming that never happened even though they have a thread stating it XD

 

Its true, the numbers don't seem to match what players have been receiving... my first 12 Kappa's I got boosters and nothing. Just posting what the Official release stated.

 

Atleast u have havoc.. DO really hates me cuz i have done 6 zetas and got only 1 havoc from the first one -_-
