[GI] Sound not working. Previous post deleted.

  1. So I wrote about having no sounds in the game about 20 days ago.
    I only got 2 answers and sadly none of them were helpful.
    But my post was still deleted even though I didn't get help. I thought threads were only closed if the poster got help or requested it to be closed.
    I even sent an email to support and still no answer.
    Just proved my fears, this game is dead.

  2. I struggle to understand what you are trying to ask because you talk about not hearing sounds then say it's because the game is dead? I don't understand what you mean.

    You can activate game sounds within the settings while on the DarkOrbit game client.

    As for the game being dead, that is somewhat true for most servers except like GA1, GE4 and GE7. But what can you do? An administrator the other day on Discord said the merge will definitely happen this year so I am just waiting for that.

    Quote me if I missed anything because I feel like I have.
     
  3. Will tell you now that since you stated you contacted support, this thread will be closed also. In the future, if your thread is closed and you want it back open, send a message to the mods in the chat section naming your thread and request it be re-opened.

    With all the issues plaguing the game, sound will probably get a priority of 60, but how dead the game is will still have nothing to do with it.

    Most players I know keep their sound off or to a minimum while listening to some other music or watching tv.
     
  4. The last thread was closed because he reported he had contacted support. You have 2 choices Community or Support and Support supersedes Community. So if you want Community input DO NOT CONTACT SUPPORT, but Support may be the only way to get the answer you need

    I apologize, but I am a little confused to what you are needing help with on this thread?
    If you are asking why your thread was closed, then HelpMeHelpYou is correct.

    If you are still having sound issues, then let me know and I will walk you thru solving the problem.
