    One of those special lf4s is the same as a level 16 lf4 right? So why would i wanna waste uri upgrading my level 1 lf4s to 16, then convert it if i could just convert my level 1 lf4 right away

    That is why they are pushing making the special LF4 right now. That said, what is the issue? o_O

    Yes you are correct the Crafted LF-4's are better than a fully upgraded NORMAL LF-4. The players that are crafting these are using their overstock that they have not upgraded and thus not wasting any of the Uridium for the upgrades. Basically you can now have a PvP, PvE, Boxing, and a regular UFE ship all equipped and ready to fly with only upgrading the UFE LF-4's and crafting the others.
