[GI] Trouble clicking on aliens or cargo boxes

Seems like here lately I can't click on a alien, bonus box or other ships without stopping my ship first, sometimes even if they are stationary I still can't click them without several tries...

It's like the target I must put my mouse over is the size a pin head and all most impossible to click.

 

press ctrl and mouse zoom in and out ur npc will become bigger also make sure your game rate speed is up to date like ur fps . if not just log out and in

 

have the same problem still not fixed. tried different computors still the same. if it fixes yours let us know. i think its a glitch and I bet there are many more with the same problem.

 

sounds like your lagging not noticeable to you while you play but when you try to lock a enemy the npc is actually like 1 sec ahead of where your screen puts him so you clicking on the npc your really clicking behind him easy fix is re log and clean cache ECT.

 

what resolution are you playing on?
there is a problem if you are playing the 3d client on a 4k monitor/ resolution, what I have found is that the resolution is smaller compared to what you have when playing on 1080p they have not got this right. when you try and click on a 4k monitor the clicking space is the same as on 2d mode where npc are smaller thus you know how to click them, the npc on 3d mode(4k res) are the same size as they appear on 1080p but the clicking area is the same as on 2d mode on 4k res.

 

My current setting is 1920x1080 and I am using the in game 3D mode.

 

the only time i have an issue is when im in gate and i click one alien then another one really quick and the lock just jumps back to the first one i locked must be due to lag i think

 

And my monitor is a Ben Q RL2455.

 

I have this issue all over the map, I have NOT noticed it when in a GG but just flying around picking up boxes or killing aliens on any of the maps. Maybe I should just stay in GG's and play... lol

._Kriminal_., This does appear to be a lag related issue. Can you post the server you are having the issue on? Are you using a hardwired internet connection or wireless?

Raijjin, I'm on USA East and its a wired cable internet connection.

I have switched back to the 2D from the 3D and it did seem to help but its still an issue. I am currently using Google Chrome, maybe I should go back to Firefox I don't remember having these problems back then.

 

I think I found what is wrong Tho I will continue testing this.... I went on my PC to Service tab and disable the super-fetch on it and it is working good now. Not lagging and also have better FPS

 

YOu say this, but on the same time you make a thread for this :/

 

._Kriminal_., Have you tested in FireFox yet? Are you still experiencing the issue?
