    The pirates on usa east 3 server are not dropping any aurus.

    Hi TheBuzz
    I got plenty as they promised during the Obsidian booty days but then it stopped and just yesterday a friend commented that he had spent a couple hours up there shooting B Rays and had found none... seems they are only releasing it at certain times/Events

    I am fairly certain that the release notes for the Obsidian event did say the pirates were, for the event duration only, dropping the rare ores.

    Yes that is what was said but I have to ask WHY make PERMANENT recipes if you can only collect the materials during events? Was the purpose of Assembly to assist the New/Free player to get equipment/gear without spending money? It seems that the materials need to be permanent also, otherwise they are useless as you can never build them as the events are not long enough to collect what you need unless you are UFE or spending money to play.

    Seems to me that certain Missions/quests/gates are currently dropping Aurus... they have said that they are going to use certain items/elements to promote their Events
    The recurrent Event Mission called 'Back Scratching' gives 5 Aurus along with the usual... quite accessible to any who can reach Pirates...

    Yes I know the Galaxy Gates are dropping the ore but again how many free players are getting a gate more than once a month even collecting Pally all day long. What about the things like scrap that we need so much of and don't seem to be able to find? All ores should be in the game if the recipes are going to be permanent and re-usable, with a reasonable rate of drop and I still stick to the ores should have been added to the cargo drops of the NPC kills instead of replacing them.

    this is probably the 3rd most hated System for me.

    Why 3? you say

    Well let's see, The galaxy gate generator runs on probability, (600+ spins just for 2 more parts for a gate, just wow)
    Booty Boxes constantly gives ammo, (with luck you get a nice little lf3)
    Assembly system (i like the idea of finding ores and crafting it, but the drop rate is so little for what is needed).

    There's another few more stuff I hate about dark orbit, but if I do gladly mention it, it may turn into a crap storm
