[GI] USD Text Message Purchases

Just curious, but whatever happened to the text message purchases for USD? I wanted to get honor booster today but realized my usual account through subway cards is empty from recent purchases, then thought to myself, what the hell happened to the text message purchases? I know for awhile they were broken, but would have been nice if it was fixed and kept.

 

anything to do with purchases on darkorbit these days offten go threw the support team mate . i am aware myself that on gb1 i cannot make text purchase wether that be a recent problem or an on going one theres nothing much a forum mod can do about that one hope i helped

 

Not asking for help on it, asking whatever happened to it, and support's useless on this case they tell you contact payment support when it has nothing to do with buying just wondering why it's gone lol. Me and many others used it since it's quick and easy, and would be totally useful on honor booster purchases, other payments have them, so why not us anymore lol.

 

Wanna bump this and see if someone, like a Dev, maybe Rick could give some insight on this.

This may be a silly question however i thought it was worth at least asking. Are you able to find the 5,000 uridium text message payment from the Uridium Page (see below);




Or is the issue something completely different that i am unaware of?

I don't see it or the one by phone.

 

No the option for both phone purchases, has been gone for quite some time now.

 

I do believe the ability to purchase by phone is unavailable in some areas. Nothing on mine.

 

It was available in my area for 4 years then it was gone lol.

Again apologies for the delay, payment issues are never easy to look into it sadly. It may be a localization issue as not all payment methods will be available everywhere, however i will try to do some digging and see whether it was removed for a particular reason.

As far as I knew, the calling phone option was removed due to an exploit that some people used, in that they would call before they moved to another residence, and never get the bill. The texting option, I wouldn't know. I never heard about it being removed until they updated the Uridium page.

I've had some information back and from what i have received, it's simply been a case of a contracting ending with the old provider and no new provider was or has been found to provide those specific services.
