[GI] Vengeance Kills

  1. I am currently doing a PvP mission where I need to pop 5 Vengeance ships. I am on 2/5. I came across a pusat and a lighting vengeance, I popped both of them but my mission still says 2/5.
    The first two that counted towards my mission were the revenge vengeance design.
    Are the pusat and lighting no longer classed as vengeance ships or have I encountered yet another bug?

    I think this is a glitch with the code as designs have now become ships in their own right and the missions need to be re written.

    Exactly. If I am not mistaken, I have seen some of the game developers wrote that the missions need to be updated.
     
  4. If I remember correctly they mentioned it in the last TWITCH stream and they were supposed to have addressed the KNOWN issue before the Launch but again they FAIL. Do not understand why these things cannot be tested before being implemented and I don't mean a couple hours in a day. Give it a good 72 hour TEST and fix what is reported and TEST again. YES it delays the Launch of progression BUT it does not effect the game play like this.
    You get no argument from me. I have been on their case about TESTING stuff longer/better but then My Last Suggestion about the Test System was deleted from the posting as they do not like the idea of allowing the players to play on a TEST server Full Time. Back when I first started an account with D O the us2 server would get all of the NEW stuff and have to suffer with the ILL effects but now they have changed it to the Beta Test and then only short periods of time and people are more interested in the increased PvP than trying to actually TEST what is supposed to be tested.
    Yes that post tells about the NEW Update but it really does not address the issues we are seeing of PvP kills not working unless killing an actual V-Vengeance or G-Goliath. Basically anything that is a skill design is no longer counting towards the completion of the ship type designated PvP Missions.

    Well, if I was the developer behind these updates, or Content Manager or whatever, I would have never released this update without reworking the missions. Because players will be frustrated cause kills won't count towards mission goals.

    I don't understand their decisions too, honestly. The managers should not have allowed this update without the game working 100% as it should.

    Nope, that doesn't help. Shoot Pusat while active mission: "Kill a Vengeance ship" - you won't complete it. Pusat is a Vengeance, isn't it? :)
     
  7. Having popped a revenge vengi design, that didn't count to my mission either. I must of popped the first two before bugpoint introduced the new hanger system. I have not been able to test but the only ships you could pop that count towards your mission might be the stock designs but seems that bugpoint took them away from everyone, so no one will be doing PvP missions any time soon.

    I bought the 50% experience booster for just such missions. Looks like I have wasted my money even though according to my logs I have finished the vengeance mission. I am sure they are doing everything they can do to work out all the bugs, but they seem to be making more than what they are solving.

    I hope they get their act together before their most loyal players decide to call it a day. It is getting frustrating.
