[GI] Westcoast server Chat

It seams that the chat is having issues. It seams to never fully load. It also seams that the VRU part of this chat has died. For what has seamed like weeks, I'm on for my two play time and never even see a post but my Good morning to the other players. Hoping thats not a sign of a dying game. I do have few buddys who played but have stop play do to the MCC they tell that we now have no company safe maps and they are feed up with that fact that on home maps enemy ships just sit on base and wait for you to pass by or stop so they can get easy kills. With no help from your fellow company members. At first I didn't agree but over time I'm starting to see there point. boy did I get off he subject of the chat not working. LOL anyway thats my two cents on the MCC's. Have fun with what seams to be the end of DO. If this keeps up with all these folks leaving the game will end. Enjoy what time is left. Star*fire

Ok, I get no chat on any of the US servers. Germany is out Great Britain is working. Turkey is out.
I was going to say its a special day problem, and it still could be. There are only a few hours left before BP/DO goes home for the day. Can they do it?

There was an announcement posted yesterday in the Tech Announcements section about some activity at the East Coast datacenter and possible disruptions. We are trying to confirm, but I believe the chat outage is part of this. The announcement states they are scheduled to complete by noon EDT.

Its ok, there is normally only chat in global anyways and who wants to see that drivel.

Read the T A about the servers possibly having issues today. They are working on the US based center today.

 

Now 20.25 GMT and US4 chat is still down... been like that since about 1400... but US4 is not listed to be affected.

Yup, warned in advance that it would be screwy. Back to chat. I am doing great. Going to work now. Chat with you later.

 

They did not list as that US2=USA West US3=US East 2 so what server name do you select when switching as this is how they listed them. But they did say ALL East Coast Center servers would be effected.

 

Go across the pond, or play without chat like I did.

 

The chat working in ga1 the chat being down I have no doubt barely anyone noticed or cared since its all in team speak.

 

All US chat is back up also. Back to watching the drama....

If anyone still has issues then clear cache, restart browser and chat on. If that fails then restart your internet connection.

nope you can close. chat works fine now but the VRU tab is just quite nobody talking
