  1. Hi All,

I was playing the game, and I happen to move my P.E.T. screen to warp to a different ship. I noticed a red dot in the corner of my "User Icon". Well I have my P.E.T. screen up all the time when I play. I turn it off and restarted it. The red dot was still there and nothing change. What does it mean?

I have seen something like it on the "Command Center" Icon. I have enable it and saw different message. The dot usually is gone when once open. I close it and all is well.

So this is new to me, but I don't know how long it has been sitting there because I have my P.E.T. screen up all the time.

  2. I would suggest clearing the Flash Cache. I have never seen a red dot on anything other than the Command Center Tab every time they add something new to it, usually the first time I log in that day. My Assembly Tab will flash at me when I have a new recipe that is ready to assemble.

    Welcome WarriorAngus,

I was curious about this "red dot" too, as I had it on my screen. I assume this has something to do with new News feed - after refreshing game client "red dot" should goes off.

  4. Hi All,

I want to thank you for the information. Yesterday after I played. I clear everything, defrag, and scan disk. Today all is well. No red dot except at command center. I thought I was Marked. Like in "Treasure Island" when the crew gave Peg Leg the Black Dot. It was suppose to be a death omen. But it was drawn on a piece of paper from the bible so it didn't work on him. It popped in my head that I was Marked too because I never saw this before. With DO changing so much, I didn't know what was going on.

  6. It can be a carry over from the new feature. If you click to open the Command Center, then close it, the 'extra' red dot goes away.
A little quicker than a complete refresh.

    Thank you for your responses.

This is a new News feed bug - does not effect your game play - and team is aware of that.

    Closing as informed.
