[GI] WHAT JUST HAPPEN

Hi All,

Has this ever happen to you?

I was fighting a Boss Kristallon at the jump gate between 3-7 to 3-8. Then the game froze. My rockets were in mid flight and I wasn't moving. The next thing I'm in (I think) 3-8 sector. The reason I said I think is: There wasn't any home base station there. It was an empty sector. Now I don't know if the other gate at the bottom left was there because I didn't look. I didn't jump to the other sector because I was actually not near the gate. I was flying around attacking the Boss Kristallon. I was towards the bottom right hand corner when the jump happen. I look at the right hand center just to see if the base would show up and it didn't. I wanted to get out of here. I was afraid I was lost in space. I flew back to the game Jumped and was back where I was. The Boss Kristallon was still there and sitting in the middle of the gate. So I continue the battle killing the Boss Kristallon and came home. I jump back to 3-8 and flew to base. All looked well.

It kind of flip me out because: I felt like I enter no-mans-land. Nothing was there when the base should have been.

You jumped to 3-8 and DO lag didnt upload the map properly. This has happened to me as well. Has a tendency to happen when there is alot of activity near the gate your jumping from. You probably triggered the jump by circling the BBK and hitting the jump link, you would have time to travel away from the gate before the gate powered up and initiated the jump.

Well I'm not going crazy. So it happen before. Thank you for getting back to me.

It was weird to say the least. When I popped into the other sector I was away from the jump gate a good distance. I had to fly back to the gate to jump back. Then I didn't see the station and that flip me out. I wanted to leave. I did stay for a few seconds just to see if the base would appear but I didn't.

Welcome to the world of an unsupported Flash game. Flash crashes (causing LAG symptoms) and as such items are not loaded properly. Be thankful the BBK was found easily and not under attack by some other player. I stopped pulling items to the jump gates for just this reason. I take them to the corners and kill the items that attack me then kill the larger items as they only attack when being attacked.

Long time no read. It is good to see ya. Thanks for the info too. I only drag bigger aliens to the gate so that I can attack in peace. I hate being jump on when fighting and becoming weak target. Was wondering if you were still around. Missed your pearls of wisdom.
