[GI] Where are the promised 10th Birthday events?

I can't find the actual birthday gate. My understanding this is NOT the same as the cold-wave (see below). This is supposed to be called The Breach which I can't find.
I can't find the cross-server entry point (See below)
I can't find the Shadow dance quest line (See below)
I haven't seen the Demaner (See Below)
Not able to click most of the even missions
Lastly, I am very disappointed we did not get bonus box birthday presents, as in the past. I'm referring to the little blue present ones with the red bow, not the blue ice cube looking things.
Over all, I have to say that I am unimpressed with the lack of delivery here.

Will someone "in the know" please address this?

Q1 answer. Had you have studied the forum you would have seen that there is a glitch with the Cold wave gate and it is being looked into.
Q2 answer. There is a OA has to the cross sever map not yet being live.
Q3 answer. The quest line shadow dance is the overall name for the story line missions and side missions.
Q4 answer. The Demaner will appear from the 19th of Dec.

There have been some issues with mission selection and this as been well documented in the forum, you need only look for and read the respective posts.

The cold wave boxes (ice cubes) have only appeared in the past on the actual day of the DO birthday, this year they have been on the maps since the start of the event. The blue boxes with red bows are the standard winter event boxes that in the past have only appeared on random days in winter events and have been replaced with the birthday boxes , so in a nutshell the birthday boxes have been on the maps longer giving players more time to collect them.

The Cold Wave gate is the birthday gate. We have nothing to otherwise suggest a third gate is being introduced this year for the birthday, and as the cold wave breach becomes available on DO's birthday I think it's a safe bet that is their intention.

Cross server isn't released yet. It is going to be released as part of the event, but it's not out yet.

While "Shadow Dance" doesn't actually get attached to any quests specifically in the FAQ, my best guess is that may be what the overall questlines released for the event were labeled as. We can try to find out more for confirmation purposes though.

Demaners invade on December 19th as detailed in the FAQ, and kindly answered above.

All of this information is not in the announcement itself, which is why the FAQ is additionally linked in the announcement so people can get a more detailed breakdown of events.

It's the same as last year taffy come on ya newb

The Great Escape quests are to open up the Easy and Hard gates in 1-4, which ended up being the new B-Day gates, which is lame... I like the other gates.

 

The gate is already opened and I personally finished..Global America 4...

 

I respectfully ask that your information be a little clearer the next time you post an event list please, Solid_Eye.
You made it sound like the Breach was something in addition. I don't recall the Cold Wave Gate being called The Breach, and it doesn't appear to have been renamed. It still reads as Cold Wave gate in game.
You touted brilliant new quests for the Shadow Dance. Now, you don't sound so sure (see highlights)
Maybe I shouldn't have assumed the freighters would be out on 12/11, but when you list something as a birthday event, and the birthday is 12/11, I don't feel the assumption was way off.
The cross-server issues were the only updates I was able to find, because I find this forum difficult to follow. I checked event announcements and technical issues looking for answers before creating this thread, now you're telling me I also have to check FAQs as well? One easy to find place for issues with an event would be appreciated in the future.
I was just curious about birthday present looking bonus boxes and why they didn't come back, that inquiry had nothing to do with the event list.

Most of the announcements we get aren't written by us, we're just given them to post. & Event ones like that I pull off the backpage - it's the same exact info in your breaking news section just with us having added URLs etc so you can follow and find the information you need.
