[GI] why can't I sell my items?

I've got like 100 cosmetic designs for drones or pet that I just don't use, they are just occupying space in my hangar (I like to have it in order), and all my new items are always all the way to the bottom of the inventory because the designs are using space. and the main annoyance is that I have to scroll down to get to the lasers and shields to equip my drones.

I just don't get it, Why the hell cannot I sell them?

 

Selling cosmetics for drones and P.E.T's is not possible. to keep your hanger tidy equip a ship you do not use with the cosmetics you do not use keeping your hanger clear of clutter.

 

It's because there was a period (probably still on going) where high-level accounts were getting hacked into, and the hacker(s) sold their LF4s, Havocs and Hercules, and B02 Shields so the player had to get their items again. To address this, the DO team disabled the option to sell "rare" items, such as LF4s, and all the drone designs, both skins and performance enhancing ones.

As USS-Aries said, you can equip the items you don't want seen onto a ship you don't use often or at all, say a Nomostro. This will keep the items out of your main hangars.
