[GI] Why The New Event?

Ok wondering why there is another new event coming when DO promised to fix the game before any new events? They can't possibly believe the game is anywhere to being fixed for instance yesterday during double gg at least 4 times possibly more i started Hades gate with 7 others, while i was in the gate waiting for players i am thinking lets go hurry up chat seems to be working i am just waiting. When i realize i am lagged out game is playing chat is working but really it's not it's lagged me out but It doesn't show nothing is wrong but it is. So I relog to find out i am not in the group anymore they send group again but to my surprise the game says i cannot enter now i am on second wave haha how can i be on second wave when the group is still in the first wave. So I wait and enter second wave and finish the gate and check logs and got no XP or honor or uri for the whole first wave. What a rip-off, we pay for the gate then get screwed from the first wave. Really if there is no history of me being in the first wave how can i go to the second wave? Everyone doing gates on Sunday is experiencing some sort of bug, How about the lag doing gate spins on double GG sometimes wait almost 1 full minute for your spin to register. No it's not cause i have to clear cache or use a different browser, It's because DO refuses to put the game on hold while they fix it. And now another slap to our faces they are gonna put out another Event which they are contradicting what they said earlier in the forums that they would not release any more new event's till the game was fixed. Don't worry DO i am not saying i want to quit the game i am saying your insulting my intelligence "our intelligence" by bringing this new event.

I agree though that the number of events seems to call into question the intelligence, integrity of those in charge of the game.

 

Yes, I believe we are being " LED down the garden path".........

It would really help if DO was to post a list of ALL " their perceived problems " in the game.

Then let us, the PLAYERS, review said list.

Then prioritize the order in which repairs are to happen.

AND MOST IMPORTANT, update this list at least, WEEKLY, so that at least " we the remaining players" can see that we are NOT "being led down the garden path"........

Just to clarify, they did not say they were not going to be running events, they said there would be NO NEW EVENTS. They have decided to rework OLD events giving us re-hashed and modified versions of events we have already seen. This meaning they are investing ONE tech to modify an already written program to make it FRESH for us while the others of the TEAM are allowed to TRY TO RECREATE the issues we see to try to find the CAUSE.

They have stated several times the issue is the OLD CODE of the ORIGINAL programmers (by now, with the different reloads, you would think they would have removed it already) and the NEW Programming causing the issues. The biggest issue is they are working on a creative platform (without the OLD CODE to cause issues) and seems to only include the affected portions of the platform they feel necessary, thus we have all of the problems in the game.

Even the TEST Server is a Partial Game and often only have the NEW software to look at instead of the complete game to check for issues. The Hangar Test is a Prime example of this, we were allowed to play in the Hangar but doing anything in the maps was a different thing all together, or the A.S. Test we found the Cargo Bays were disabled so we could not collect any of the drops.

 

What about missing missions? They did something and quests disappeared even though they were 50-90% done. It took 10 or more days to do this, all that for nothing!? Fix this game asap.
