Glowing ships

Today, I was with my clan when one of my clan members logged on. What we all see (not just me) is that his ship and drones were glowing bright blue. We joked that he was an S-mod. Then it calms down. A few hours later, while I was sitting on another cbs, another one of my buddies logged on and she was glowing bright blue too, and the first one was still glowing. Any explanation for these occurrences?

old bug mentioned in another thread today (they look cool ! )

 

It's a bug that's caused by warping from a Leonov Ship into any other Ship. The glow is supposed to be unique to the Leonov (to represent it's home map bonus), however the visual effect seems to be carried over to another Ship in the warping process.

 

I kinda like this visual effect, they should have different color glows for credits in the Designs shop xD
Anyway, if they don't, I kinda hope they don't patch this visual bug, it looks really neat and doesn't make you stronger xD
Maybe visually appealing, but no more than that.

I can confirm that this visual bug has been passed onto Quality Assurance (Bigpoint Testers) to be investigated into, although i admit i did enjoy getting my police ship to glow yesterday.

Since this issue has been reported, does the OP (original poster) have any further questions on this topic?

Was nice to see my Leo glow again, but yes it seems to carry on to my Goli when I warp.
