Goliath or Spearhead ?

    Well it depends on what you like to do. I use spear for doing almost all my npc quest. Actually I have not used my Goliath in over a year. It is covered in thick cobwebs, and I am only missing 3 designs I think. The goli is the hunting ship but I have fun making them mad with my aegis. LOL :p

    it depends on what stage you are some ppl like me whos not ufe and alittle btter than basic fe i use goliath it does decent damage with high shield , spear does little damage but very fast it is normally used in space ball to get away or to catch up, and used for boxing and pallaying, but i'd say agies is most useful for npc quests and gates if your fe ,

    Which is best to have as your only ship. That depends on what level you or on a spear is good if loaded with lf4s and full drone set that is all 10. as a first or only ship I have to go with relax and get a vengi

    Of the two a goli is far cheaper I bought one for 500.000 credits and 10,000 per design I use it for uppers and missions I still hunt in my vengi though; I can't ran in a goli and hate being a sitting duck as I burn my good ammo

    They are totally different ships.

    Goliath is overall best ship. Really good in hunting NPC and players too. Great damage and great amount of shield and HP, but not that fast.
    On the other hand, Spearhead is the fastest ship for now. Isn't great for hunting except if you are UFE and boosted with seprom and boosters. But, it is a great ship for doing daily quests (yup, I do my dailies in Spearhead, it's fun), also collecting boxes and collecting pala on 5-3. If you get in bad position, you can Ultimate cloack and you are safe. With Goliath, boxing and those stuff are harder, if you are caught out of position by a stronger player, you are going to be smashed.

    Also, a Spearhead costs a fair amount of credits, if we consider getting designs.

    PS. If you really can't make up your mind, I would say take Vengeance :D It's the perfect middle of these ships and may suit you well.

    Yes start with vengie then aegis then goli unless u plan on spending $$$. Goli w/out bein FE is a deathtrap.

    Aegis is the best by far for free players. Save credits.
