GOOD JOB ON BOTS

Dark Orbit has done a great job on bots but when will dark orbit address game cheats auto locks ect. this has been a ongoing issue. they exist there are many web sites dedicated to game program abuse. it is about time dark orbit do something about this issue. it is clear that dark orbit will not address the cm issues how about the game program issue. it exist it is real cant denies it . to many you tube vids and web pages

You guys do realize how auto lock works right? It's completely unlike a botting system. Auto Lock are assisting programs, while bots are scripts. Scripts are far easier to detect since it is a continuous program that controls the ship and all that. For autolock, it's client side, you remain in control, and it is easily to toggle it on/off. Because of this, players suspected of auto-locking needs to be under constant watch to see how the player is locking, and it needs video evidence. Also, there are a lot of other players that can easily be falsely accused of auto-locking. There are several people that don't use auto-lock, but still be accurate in selecting their targets.

All I would like to add is developers and the support team is working continuously in order to eliminate the cheats in game and make Darkorbit as clean game for all of you, however this would take time and patience. The developers are doing what it takes to remove the cheats and hence you can see regular update on bots removal in this thread> Removed Bot Users

The use of external programs (whether it be 'bots' or other third-party software) is all dealt with by Support. The scripts are always running to catch players who plays by unfair means and also you can Contact Support to inquire further.
