Hack

Hi,

At the moment the game is being hacked, i hope BP will fix it quick.
We can't even play!
I don't know why some hackers do it, there are more interesting things to hack

 

-deadman72- how did you come to that game is being hacked? Why should hackers waste their time on a mere game as DO is. As you said, they have more interesting things to do..
Maybe you are talking about DDoS attacks, but this can do any second class lame pseudohacker..

 

This is no DDos attaks.
I don't know why hackers would attak DO but they are, i can't change server and go on another forum, this one is so bad

Edit: actually going on the forum and surfing DO pages is the only thing i can do.

 

-deadman72- I can't say where exactly the problem could be, but if you can login but can't go on game, this mean that the server is still accessible. Maybe you should try clear cache, check if all plugins have their actual version (java, flashplayer) and try it again.
If problem is somewhere else, I'm afraid then you'll have ro wait until it will be fixed..

That is the resources not loading in, not a "hack".
Over the weekend there were big issues with lag on a few servers but appears to have cleared up now mostly and was only effecting the gamepage. The fact that your log in page isn't even loading up properly makes it more probable that it's an issue with your internet unless other people have the same thing but I haven't seen anyone else complain about it.

 

That's not he first time the main page look like this but when I'm logged it's the first time i can see pics i never seen before.

 

What is the url for the log in page you are using and does this happen every time or just sometimes?

 

It rarely happens, i checked the url but even when i change it's the same.

 

Hmmm, I know you might have already tried it but if you are using http://www.darkorbit.com/ and it happens try changing it to http://www.gb1.darkorbit.com/ or http://www.us1.darkorbit.com/ etc. The only other thing that comes to mind is that you might be trying to log in / play during a DDoS attack like ❦Čοlεκ❧ mentioned.

 

DDoS attaks doesn't do that.

Yes, it does.
A DDoS attack is a flood of information to a server. This causes the server to become very slow and if the attack is powerful enough the server will crash because it cannot handle the amount of data being sent to to.

And i never seen many but it never done that, only the game lagging.

I checked the files on the page and it only loads pictures, no video or audio files as usual.

 

Why is there a picture of a dog where the MHH ammo icon is on the shop tab? You sure you haven't got malware that is messing with your backpage css?

 

Browser is curently the only software on.

 

It looks like you have malware attached to your browser ... there should not be a picture of a dog where that icon is meant to be x) Try another browser (it might have spread to all your browsers though) and run a virus scan.

 

Internet explorer doesn't even open itself With chrome it works
But chrome is so slow
I will check my browser and run a virus scan

 

I had a similar screen a few times last week but all I did was refresh my browser and everything came up normal.
