Has the Darkorbit Relaunch Happened ??

Hi

Without sounding sarcastic or ignorant, did the whole
Darkorbit reloaded relaunch campaign happen already ??

There was a great build up with the video's an emails etc
but ive not seen any actual advertising online or tv or anything.
Now its seems to of fizzled out, just wondered if its already happened
or if something else is planned as not seeing any new players
(few new "Old"ships, but thats about it)​

 

hey they gave me 75k uri I came back... looked around and feel the same pull at my wallet I felt when I took a break

2 important differences
1. cheaters seem to be gone for the most part
2. customer service seems to be better

The MASSIVE relaunch campaign was really just adding "Reloaded" to the end of the logo. That's about it...

 

More cheaters and the customer service is still bad lol .

As far as customer service goes I hear DC got his acct hacked and BP didn't help him out. If they won't go above and beyond for their top customer how much less will they do for so called 'paying' customers.... hmmm maybe I'll hold of on spending anything on this game..

All they did was add Reloaded to the name. Launch the new missions, the new auction, and i believe a couple of more things coming. Plus the "Campaign" was them sending a couple of voucher codes to use.

 

Oh there top customers are priority and the average one's are still garbage, all because of a little rank and fame, I see how it is, if you have't been autolocked, your damn lucky.

 

Im sure that issue got investigated and got proved without a shadow of a doubt
that No one got hacked, If you download a Keylogger,or give out your personal
details or account share .. its no one else's fault but your own !!​

 

a very relaunch of this game would be possible with a douling of all rewards for alien kills. This would attract a lot of player, because with all necessities to have a competitive ship, kill the aliens and gain money is very slow.

 

And halve the uri price

 

There's 58 servers, Lets say 500 people on about 35 of these servers, 300 on about 18 of these servers, and lets say there's 1000-1500 on 5 of these servers.

Now If 100 players of each of those 500 Capped servers spends $100-300 every MHH, 50 Players of all those 300 capped servers spend $100-300 Every MHH, and 300 players from each of those 1000-1500 capped servers spends $100-300 every MHH the Profit from that single MHH is:

$350,000 - $1,050,000 From the 35 Servers.
$90,000 - $270,000 From the 18 servers.
$150,000 - $450,000 From the 5 servers.

Total Profit Ranges from:

$590,000 - $1,770,000 Per MHH / Week Just from Darkorbit NOT including how ever many other games people spend money on with Bigpoint.

To put it in prospective that's:

$2,556,666 - $7,767,000 Per month Just off of Darkorbit
$30,679,992 - $93,204,000 Per Year Just off of Darkorbit

Could they Double the NPC rewards in Uridium Yes; will they NO.

It was only a bit of math It could have got a lot more dirty (but more accurate),
I just didn't want to go through surveying every server for its exact occupants and Money spenders.

 

that does not include Prem, box doubler rebate etc though...

 

Nothing special about DO Reloaded. I dont feel like playing much more than I do now. I keep noticing there are still botters, not as many, and the cheaters still do their thing but there are new cheats going on.
Support with better customer service? You must be thinking of some other game because I have a low opinion of support..especially K*** the useless.
They need to make major changes to this game to spice it up for the folks who didnt bot and hack their way into the top 200 players on every server. This game is meh. My friend is in top 300 and he says he can barely stand the game anymore and finding lf4s is nearly impossible unless you spend gobs and gobs (and more gobs) of money. Screw it .... no fun there.
