    NOTE: The ROK-T01 only applies to single-rocket fire and has no effect on the Hellstorm system.

    +++ EQUIPPING (Main Page) +++

    Once you have purchased your Hellstorm Rocket Launcher, you will need to equip it to your ship. From the main backpage, go to the HANGAR section, then to the Equipment tab. Click and drag the Hellstorm Launcher from the inventory section onto your ship. The ROCKET LAUNCHER will be located under the LASERS compartment.

    Make sure that you equip the launcher to both ship configurations.

    +++ OPERATION (Space Map) +++

    1. Equip the Launcher

    From the Ammo/CPU Interface, open the Rocket Launcher options (3rd from the left).
    The Hellstorm Launcher is the first icon, and will appear as a rocket launcher with either 3 or 5 dots above it (depending on the model of your launcher). You can either activate the launcher by clicking it from here, or by dragging the icon into the Hotkey bar for easier use.

    If no launcher is equipped, it will show a non-selectable icon with the message "Attention: No launcher installed".

    2. Load the launcher

    The ammunition for the Hellstorm Launcher is located to the right of the launcher icon, in the following order:
    | HSTRM-01 | UBR-100 | ECO-10 | SAR-01 | SAR-02 | CBR |.

    If you have just installed the launcher, it will currently be unloaded (black dots).

    First, click on the type of ammunition you wish to load, then click on the launcher icon (in either the Hotkey bar or the Ammo/CPU Interface) to begin loading. The launcher will also change to match the icon of the ammunition type you have selected. The rockets will store up in the launcher (1 per second). You will hear a 'click' as each rocket loads, and the circles will change colour (per ammunition type) so you can see how many rockets are loaded - you can check the load status of the launcher from the icon in either the Ammo/CPU Interface, or in the Hotkey Bar.

    3. Firing the launcher, reloading, changing ammo types.

    To fire the launcher, simply target the enemy and click the launcher icon (or press the corresponding Hotkey as defined in your Settings). After the Hellstorm has fired, the small circles will have returned to black to indicate that the launcher is empty again. Press the Hotkey or click on the launcher icon again to start reloading the Hellstorm launcher.

    NOTE: There is a cool-down period of 3 seconds after firing before you can reload.

    +++ THE AUTO-ROCKET CHIP +++

    The RL-LB1, if equipped, will automatically load and fire the Hellstorm launcher at any opponent you target with lasers. This saves a lot of hassle, and is HIGHLY recommended for any regular users of the Hellstorm launcher.

    For conservative use, you can assign the CPU to a Hotkey, which will allow you to toggle its use on or off as needed. Simply click and drag the CPU from the Ammo/CPU Interface to the Hotkey bar (generally, you would replace the Hellstorm Launcher icon with the CPU).

    The chip operates on a toggle system - the icon will be surrounded by a faint yellow highlight if the chip is active, no highlight if the chip is off.
    Once activated, the launcher will start loading automatically (after a 1 second delay) with the ammo you have selected. To change ammo, you only need to select the new ammo type - the chip will load the launcher for you.

    GENERAL NOTE: Switching configurations will "un-load" the launcher. You will have to reload the Hellstorm launcher after changing configs (the RL-LB1 will do this automatically if active).

    Should you experience any difficulties with the above, you may be having a technical problem, and should post in the Technical Questions, Problems and Bugs section of the Forum (please ensure you include your USER ID and Server to assist with your inquiry).

    QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

    Q : How can I use a Hellstorm Rocket Launcher ?
    A : You have to buy and equip one of them to fire the HSTRM-1 rockets.

    After equipping them and having ammo for it,
    you can select them in your Rockets bar on the space map.
    Load the system >> Press rocket fire
    Fire the system >> Press rocket fire after the launcher is loaded.
    The amount of rockets loaded goes up automatic from 1~5 depending on your launcher.

    Q : Do I need Special Rockets to use the Hellstorm Rocket Launcher ?
    A : Yes you do, you will need to buy the ammo listed in this FAQ (ECO-10, HSTRM-01, etc) to use it.

    Q : How many HSTRM rockets do I have ?
    A : Click on the Rocket Launcher Hotbar Icon (the 4 rockets) to view your current HSTRM rocket counts

    Q : Can I fire different rockets while the system is loading ?
    A : Yes you can, just select a different rocket and fire it while the Launcher is loading.

    Q : Can I win the Hellstorm Rocket Launcher on the Auction?

    A : You can win the HST-02 on the Auction

    Q. Where can I buy the Triskelion, Hydra, and Neptune Rocket Launchers?
    A: These are only available to be crafted in the Assembly

    Q : Why does the Hellstorm Rocket Launcher disappear from
    my ship config ?

    A : If you don't have any HSTRM rockets, there is no use for having it equipped.
    The system just stores it bag to your equipment selection.

    Q : Why does my Hellstorm Rocket Launcher removes the Rockets when changing config ?
    A : That's how it should be. If this wouldn't happen, you could have 2 sets of rockets loaded. it's not thought like this.

    Q: Why is the Neptune Rocket launcher not counting a 5% damage boost if Solaris skill „Incinerate“ is used?
    A: Neptune Rocket laucher does give +5% boost to overall damage, but it is not supposed to affect the damage that Solaris' Incinerate ability deals, or any damage-dealing ability for that matter. The ability will deal the same amount of damage regardless of damage boosts.
